This is a great hotel for those who don’t care much about details, there was a lot of missing things in the room, you could tell that they recently renewed and they wanted to sell the room asap, breakfast is included ok, but everyday they have the same food and the staff is there hanging around with each other.
I have to say that from my last visit the common areas have changed for good and you can feel it, everything was very organized and clean, the beach is georgeus and clean, although it was a little wavy.
Food at the restaurant is ok they have mostly Peruvians options but I think it could be better.
Overall we enjoyed ourselves but you need to take in consideration this if you’re going to this hotel.

The rooms are very old, and dirty, the ac did not work properly, the shower heads wered rusted and the shower floor slimmy. Basic room had no tv, no phone and door to the room seemed to have been broken into in the past, It was so bad I booked a 2 night stay and drove from punta rusia for almost 6 hours and decided to leave the place the next day, I asked to be refunded and was denied unless it booked, guess it never did. Very disappointed, decided to pay for another hotel. Tried to visit their restaurant porto by mosquito and ended up leaving the establishment because the staff was rude, and unattentive, never again mosquito! Zero ratings!

We’ve been coming here for years but the recent visit was a big downgrade. Our room was awful- I don’t need much but I do expect a clean room & bathroom. I think they’re redoing the rooms and I’m sure once completed they’ll be great but if they continue to rent these out they should be better maintained. We didn’t complain because it was a short trip but I wouldn’t stay in that room again, absolutely not worth the price. Also the restaurant service needs help- we waited 1.5 hours for a pizza and eventually said nevermind because it never arrived. Breakfast was delicious as always.

Love the Boutique style of this hotel, staff great and the restaurant was great. Was very windy the night we were there and our patio door kept blowing open through the night even though they were locked. Very charming and lovely location.

The area around the hotel is great, the hotel itself is small but cosy, it has a very nice bar and very nice beach front. The music is amazing!!! There are plenty of mosquitoes though, so come prepared!

Prperty needs updating, the rooms are very old, the beach is good for surfing, if you are a great swimmer, you will be good, way too many mosquitos, they charge you for drinking water which I think is ridiculous. The security guy Joel is very nice and helpful otherwise will not ever book this place again.

Beautiful location on the ocean with a great restaurant and bar. There is a surf school on location too if you want some adventure. A short drive to the downtown area. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty and the nightlife in town.

Property is clean but definitely under staffed. If you’re hungry or thirsty prepare to wait for waiters. Even if you tip ahead, there is no attention to detail. It’s a nice beach bar to hang out for the day or a few hours, but I would not recommend staying here.

Beautiful beachfront hotel, no need to cross a road to get to the beach. Truly beachfront. Great staff, safe, quiet and absolutely beautiful location. Have been a few times now and will continue to go back.

It's been weeks since I left this property but I specifically wanted to write this review because they truly deserve it. Mosquito Boutique Hotel is absolutely magical! It is by a beautiful beach where you can witness the most incredible sunset. The restaurant on the property has great food and drinks. I read some reviews on here that said the service was slow but that wasn't the case when I was there in March 2023. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms carry the traditional architecture and we loved ours. This is a great place to spend a couple of days to relax or to go on a romantic getaway. I definitely will be back! Thank you Mosquito Boutique Hotel for a great vacation that I will always remember. <3

Our favorite part of our stay was the staff. They were super attentive and worked really hard to make sure nothing was overlooked. The restaurant was awesome as the food was delicious! We tried almost every dish on the menu. The vibe of the hotel is very chill & hip and we loved the DJ on the weekends while we lounged by the ocean. The beach was also very beautiful and lives up to its name! We will definite be back :)

This was a beautiful location right on the beach. The room was beautiful and maintained daily. The property was spectacular. Always clean and inviting. The restaurant and bar were great!!

I loved this hotel. First time in a boutique hotel and loved the experience. Had so much fun. This hotel was so pretty. The staff was great and the food was great. Will return with my children loved that the hotel was very pet friendly.

Great little boutique hotel. It sits on a gorgeous beach and is the kind of place you can feel comfortable in flip flops day or night. The room was a few steps from the restaurant and beach. There is a surf school and rental on-site. The beach was fairly empty during the week and was more busy on the weekend. Food and drinks were a little bit pricey but at the same time very convenient. Vibe was very relaxing. I'm a big dog lover and enjoy pet friendly hotels but some owners let their dogs run totally free and beg at tables at the restaurants. I saw it made some guests uncomfortable. Only negative I saw there.

Great location right by the beach, the bar/restaurant were very good! Amazing food. The staff were very friendly. Recomend it 100% if you're not looking for an all inclusive vacation.
