We loved this property!! The food and service was excellent!! Our room was very comfortable and we loved all of the amenities!!

Close and easy walk from Gora Station and near Hakone Open Air Museum! Excellent onsen hotel! We had an onsen bath in our condominium room but we also used the communal onsen. Hotel had many levels and rooms for gathering together with free afternoon snacks and after dinner dessert with all the drinks you would ever need. It was fun to walk around and see all these rooms. We did not sign up for the dinner package but we did enjoy the excellent breakfast! We happened to be in Hakone during a beautiful sunny day and was able to enjoy all the indoor and outdoor amenities and nearby attractions. We greatly enjoyed staying at this hotel and would absolutely return when we are in Japan again!

Great hotel right next to tram station. Breakfast is ok, what I would expect. Onsen is wonderful, service is great Will reserve again.

No elevator to all floors. Had to carry heavy suitcases up flights of stairs. Did not tell us horrendous cost of eating dinner in their restaurant before we ate despite asking at the time.

Excellent amenities such as the footbath, fireplace, reading area, childrens games, snacks and drinks. It was a very safe and welcoming environment.

I cannot recommend this hotel, despite its wonderful and convenient location and the free drinks and snacks offered in the evening. It has too many deficits, although some could be easily remedied. Inexplicably the hotel was constructed without elevator access to the rooms in the west wing, and the staff does not offer to help with bags, even for guests such as us, in our 70s and 80s. The stairs are not inconsiderable. The bathroom was tiny. There was no chair or stool in our room, despite ample space in the entryway, making it difficult to change from slippers to shoes, again especially so for the elderly. The mattress and pillow were hard, with the former placed essentially on the floor. The breakfast was unexceptional, with poor baked goods. Finally, checkout time is 10AM, earlier than the typical 11AM for Japan.

This was perfect for traveling with kids. The room was large, there was a public and private bath. Staff were great with my toddler and there are kids areas and free snacks for them, while it's also in walking distance to other things in Gora. I would stay again.

We absolutely love the place. The breakfast was wonderful and enjoyable. The room is clean and the bed is firm yet comfortable to sleep in. We love the onsens both public and private. We had time to soak our feet after a day walking around. We highly recommend this stay .

Overall, great experience. Love the community area which is very cozy and clean. Staff is very friendly. Room is nice and spacious with onsen bath. Buffet is good, although I wish they could offer more varieties since it's basically the same menu everyday. Parking is a little bit far from the property, about 3 minutes walk. Location is good, an easy walk to either direction of the Tozan Train stations.

Great hotel and location for exploring Hakone!

Near Gora Station. Super convenient to navigate and find activities around the area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The complimentary sweet treats and beverages at the lounge were very well appreciated. Love the breakfast buffet especially the Japanese local dishes on menu.

I liked the distance to the train, there were free drinks and snacks. The room was bigger than average. There was a unpleasant smell in the bathroom. I think it was the toilet.

We chose this place for it's convenient location from Gora station. I think we booked the condo side of the building instead of the hotel side, cause there appeared to mainly be families while we were there. Lots of facilities and amenities catered to children and families. We were lucky our room was on the same floor as the private bath, which we were able to utilize. Overall we enjoyed the experience, but it's better suited for families rather than a couple on their honeymoon.

We booked the condominiums as a treat. Spacious by Japanese standards with two large single beds, large sofa and kitchen facilities. Highlight is the bathroom with your private “onsen” the bath runs constantly with warm water from the hot springs. Divine after a long day. Coffee machines, soda machines, ice pops, foot bath, fire pit and free whisky, sangria and beer from 7pm - 10pm with some small sweet treats. A short flat stroll from Gora station makes this a perfect place to stay to explore the Hakone area.

I really enjoyed the expansive Japanese breakfast buffet, 24 hour drink machines/ice pops/milk, inclusive snack/happy hour, and outdoor foot bath. Gora/Chukukonomori Stations are within walking distance as well as a Lawson and several bus stops so transportation during the day is no issue. The private baths had people lined up to wait during peak times when people returned to the hotel from sightseeing, but my partner and I managed to find time in the mornings before the baths were closed for cleaning. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay and great place to return to after a long day of travel!

Nice breakfast, convenient location and nice onzen

Great location and excellent facilities.

Wish we had been able to stay more than one night here. It was pouring rain for our whole stay, but this hotel sure helped ease the disappointment of not seeing Mt Fuji during our stay. (We did luck out and see it from the train later in our trip.) The facilities are beautiful, we loved the women’s onsen and the private onsen, and we all enjoyed the onsen bath in our room -particularly my 12 year old daughter who was not willing to go to the other onsens with her mom/parents. Dinner was a little out of our price range, and we couldn’t find many dinner options in the area, but there was a combini within walking distance (also made the 12 year old happy.) Breakfast was delicious with so many options- the hardest thing was choosing which to skip! Definitely a place I’ll dream of until I visit again!

Amazing. One of the best!

Avoid Superior room Type A. It is on the ground floor and the path is right outside the wide window. People walk toward the window. Not very peaceful. Avoid the very expensive dinner package, overpriced and tasted awful. Be aware of dirty underwear thieves. Breakfast was lovely. Nice location. Close to Gora Station.

They had a little library on one floor along with a little place where they served refreshments and snacks. In the evenings they had a little Happy hour with all the other guests there. The staff was absolutely amazing in both politeness and service. It was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed the view out the window of the little common area was absolutely breathtaking. Also they had public or private baths at service. Very close to train station in. We absolutely loved it! The breakfast was one of the best we had the whole trip, a huge buffet, the biggest surprise of all! Highly recommend!

Near Gora Station

We had a great time in this hotel. It was very close to the Gora station. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast had a good variety of Japanese and American items to choose from. Also enjoyed the private onsen to relax after a day of outdoor activities. Highly recommend.
