one side of the building must have tenants living there as there was beer cans, cigarette butts and rotted carved pumpkins outside of most of the units, the cottage area really wasn't any better as there was overflowing ashtrays outside. definitely not like the pictures that are shown on Hotel.com's website

Excellent environments except strong smell AIR FRESHER

there sere dirty sheets on one of the beds, which had a small blood stain which grossed me out. Also some strange noises up until about 2am

The lack of grab bars in the bathroom made it less than ideal for a senior couple who rely on these safety features. There was no anti slip features in the bathtub either. For these reasons I would not recommend this for seniors.

Not the cleanest and no soap provided to even wash your hands in the washroom.

Friendly staff, easy check in, beds a bit hard

Cute little cottage room was clean. Beds are spring mattresses that did the trick but could be updated. AC worked wonderfully! Very close to amenities in the area. Worked for what I needed.

The parking lot for the cabins could be made bigger for getting in and out. The screens on the aluminum doors need to be replaced. Other then that it was good for what we paid

Had an opportunity to speak to the owners and found them to be friendly and enthusiastic! Would definitely stay there again.

Everything was pretty much booked when we decided to stay on a Saturday in mid-August in Gravenhurst. We wouldn’t normally stay at a motel, but the accommodations are owed by a lovely family who aimed to please. Although the cabins were of a certain age and sparsely decorated, the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. There was a little kitchen area in the room and outdoor tables and chairs, so we enjoyed a coffee the next morning in the sunshine after a restful sleep.

Room smelled of heavy cleaner so much is made you nauseous. Window locks on ground level cabin are broken. Garbage piled up in plain sight outside. Kitchenette missing almost everything including forks.

Quiet and homey.

It was a basic room but comfortable and very clean. Good location.

Actually this place is very modest from the outside. It’s clean but needs a good overhaul. Just stayed the one night so a good nights sleep was the priority. Bed was comfortable shower was great and room clean. It’s close to all restaurants, bars and grocery stores. Overall 7/10

Small things made it look quite cheap;Paint job did not bother to take off plug cover plates so all painted over, TV old and blurry, bulbs out on second bed, WiFi password did not work.

This hotel was in a very central location, ideal to do walks about the town. We had a pleasant stay, the only set back at the time for rest, was the rather loud noise emenating from the refridgerator motor.

Hotel is a bit old school but pleasent room i had had a fridge sink 2 element stove microwave dishes and a sink good location

It was a very basic room. However, the price was right. The heat was minimal.

It's a decent Motel, clean enough for one night. bed are ok. Like all Motels you can hearperfectly the room next to you so it will depend on your neighbors.. we get lucky and had a good night

Well, you get what you pay for I suppose. Wasnt the worst motel Ive stayed in. The door didnt lock so we had to put a chair in front of it at night. The walls were very thin, we could literally hear the people in the room next to us fart. There was no thermostat in the room, and when I called to ask if there was the lady who checked us in brought us a space heater that was very dusty and very noisy (we didnt end up using it. Could hardly hear each other talk over the noise it made). The room was kind of cold during the day and evening but at night the heat went up, and we were drenched in sweat. I wish there was a way we could have controlled it. Overall, if you are there just for the night amid a winter hiking trip like we were, itll do as a place to rest when you are tired enough to pass out anywhere.

I completely screwed up my check in date, but the proprietor stepped right up and forgave any cancellation fee and set me up for the next night. Also as I was travelling in #snowmaggedon2020 , he allowed a 1pm check in after my mistake. This will now be my go to stay while in Gravenhurst.
