Really nice hotel in reception area and bar/dining area.Bedrooms at first look seam ok but when you look closer the carpet was quite stained looked like liquid spillage and the bathroom floor was worn out needs replacing.The reception sraff and dining staff were very friendly and helpful.

The stay was billiant except the addition of the shower. It would have been nice to have a room with a proper shower in, and not have an invalid room.

Room flighty booked a room for four women 2 single beds at a window then bed upstairs open plan very uncomfortable beds room freezing smoke alarms going off people smoking weed and the noise felt like other people in the room with us . Big sign for Xmas cocktails yet bar staff couldn’t make them only thing good was breakfast 😢

Had a brilliant time . Lovely hotel . Breakfast could have been better bacon was dry and hard . Would be good to have fried eggs as well as scrambled . But overall experience was great Thankyou

Booked a long time in advance got excellent price. Room for 8 people, only 1 toilet luckily there was only 5 of us. Bathrooms could do with a make over. But good value overall for what we paid.

The hotel is a grat location in the city front desk were very helpful. The hotel was very clean our room was very spacious with a jacuzzi bath.
The breakfast was fantastic of a high quality and well presented.

Amazing stay rang me in the way down and asked if we would like an upgrade, which we took and we got an amazing suit with hot tubs in the room.
Would recommend staying here, staff are friendly and happy to help.
Room up grade was a really nice added bonus to make the stay even better

Really liked this place, classy, comfy and quirky! Despite the name the football connection is very low key but the place is very blue! Reception and bar very nice, our room was big and well furnished with some quirky decor. breakfast was ok, just the usual buffet. car park 1 min city centre 2 mins, will stay again

I’ve stayed at the hotel a few times now and every time had a different style hotel room. Most are spacious and this time it was huge. Two double beds, that could be made into 4 singles and 2 large chesterfield style sofas. Jacuzzi bath with shower above. Very convenient to city shops, restaurants and night life.

Awful dirty room which stunk carpet filthy stained tv on wall didnt pull out so pointless having it .stayed next door to guests from hell avoid at all cost staysomewhere better.

Hotel staff were very good. The bar and seating area are well presented. The rooms are a little dated and tired. Windows sealed closed so unable to open. carpets not very clean. and very dark (low level lighting throughout the hotel) breakfast service is very good and the food was good.

Group of 4 girls stayed 2 nights. Great stay yet again. room was spacious. Lighting ok and loved the 3 dressers. Aircon not working but coped fine. Check in was quick and easy. Male Reception and Bar/restaurant staff great and friendly. Breakfast was great. Beds need new mattresses as springs can be felt but again managed.

The bath in our room was a jacuzzi bath. It took about 50 mins to fill. Then when the jets were turned on it sprayed out loads of black gunk. When reported to the manager he said it should be fine on the second fill. It did not. We were therefore unable to use the bath at all and wasted 2 hours trying to do so.
The heating controls in the room were also broken and the room way too hot for my family of five.

When we opened the door we both went Wow, didn't expect to have 3 double beds in our room, fantastic location, lovely staff in reception and restaurant and bar, breakfast was delicious, will definitely be back

My room was huge with two king size beds and a jacuzzi spa bath. Being so large, the room was not very warm but since I was out much and only in room for bed, the bed was warm & cozy. Lots of hot water. Very good free breakfast. Very central location. Staff friendly & helpful.

Rooms are spacious, however could pay better attention to the details as shampoo / conditioner as hand wash is not good!

We went for my husbands 40th birthday . The place was stunning and right in the heart of liverpool. Can hand on heart say ove never stayed in such a luxurous room . Thankyou dixie dean hotel

We spent one night before the Liverpool FC match. The room was clean and large, and breakfast was okay (coffee was terrible, though). The only issue we had was a lack of an internet connection due to some problem they had during the weekend. From that expensive hotel, you can absolutely expect to have that issue backed up.
Close to Lime Street Station, walking distance from Liverpool one. Poor isolations of sounds and lights from the nearby street.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dixie Dean Hotel. Our room was huge, decor was beautifully unique, beds were very comfortable , tea, coffee etc in room, blackout curtains which was wonderful, room very clean and smelling fresh, bathroom was amazing with large jacuzzi bath tub, all toiletries available. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was lovely and lots of variety. Hotel was within walking distance of town, bars and restaurants. Definitely value for money, would recommend The Dixie Dean 100%. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved our stay. Beds were comfy and staff were super friendly. Close to the train station and close to the city centre. We have booked again already and we will always look to book this when we stay in Liverpool

We really wanted to like this hotel but it was quite a horrible stay. The staff were lovely but the hotel should be marketed as a hen do hotel, not for couples. We were woken up by someone trying to enter our room at 4.30 in the morning. We also had screaming women outside our room and a women so loud and upset it sounded like she was dying. They was also an arrest happening as we left. Our room was mouldy and there were dead flies on the window, it just didnt feel clean and everything seemed worn. We really wanted to like it here but im sad to say we wont be back.

My husband and I went for a couple of days break. The staff was so friendly, rooms were fantastic; so comfortable and spacious.We felt so pampered and definitely want to go back. The only thing that let the hotel down was the lack of dress code of the guests. As it is a 4star hotel we were shocked to find women in pyjamas and slippers sitting on the steps at the entrance, smoking cigarettes. The guests at the breakfast were not dressed much different which i thought was a shame.

This is a quirky hotel with charm! We had a huge bedroom (3 beds!) and the 2 we used were comfortable except for the very flat pillows. They had a nice bar area. The poor girl behind the bar had just started working there and needs some training. The breakfast area was great and a good selection of foods.

Hotel was lovely. It was clean and very quirky. The rooms was big and bathrooms was so good the shower and jet baths was go good.
Hotel had a a great restaurant breakfast was lovely and the bar was well stocked goid cocktails at a great price.
Its also really in a good location near everything.

A warm welcome at Reception; cleaners very polite; extra large room for two of us (with two king size and two single beds); loved the jacuzzi in the bathroom
There was only one wardrobe and because there were three high shelves inside the rail was not practical for hanging shirts and dresses. There was a buildup of mould in the gap between the old and new window panels - not appealing if you want to look outside.
Breakfast was okay, not a great choice for fruit lovers.
