Very helpful

I had made a booking for the wrong night, but was still accommodated by the sweetest lady in the world! Thanks to her we were able to rest some before our next connecting flight.

Gated, so it's very safe! It's right off a busy street, but it's relatively quiet, and the energy here is calm and peace. The rooms are lovely and very clean, with beautiful yard flooring and a loveseat, TV, dresser, microwave, and fridge (with two bottles of cold water!), even a bidet in the bathroom!

The place was clean and quiet. The staff is friendly.

I travelled by myself and stood 4 nights. The property has a boutique tropical feel to it and very secure. I loved every minute of it. The pool was great, I swam laps everyday and night. The room was acceptable and clean. Don't be alarmed with the area around, it is in a poverty stricken area. But I walked around everyday and had no problem just stay on the main streets. Its a few minutes walk to the beach. It does get a little loud outside at night between the music and kids playing outside in the streets but I didn't mind. I will definitely stay there again.

Super Excellent

I travel a lot. This hotel was not very good. It was on a back road, hidden behind a jail like steel door which lead me to believe that high crime was possible. The service was terrible upon arrival. The manager was very nervous acting, didn't know where things were in the room. I had a stray cat room into the room. The employee chased it out by spraying air freshener on it then over spraying the room with it. The location's landscaping looked terrible. The did provide what the call a shuttle to the airport which was a sedan with no trunk space. The driver had his girlfriend with him, a nasty attitude and I rode with my suitcase in the back seat with my girlfriend. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. I normally don't leave bad reviews because every hotel has bad days but this was definitely the worst place I've ever stayed. Sorry.

Very nice and clean. The property manager Michaella is wonderful, she’s special.

It was such a great experience. Spacious rooms, beautiful views, and safe. The host was friendly and incredibly helpful. You felt cared for and welcomed, like being home. I will definitely stay here next time and I can’t wait to be back. Stay at the Residence Tropical Gardens, you won’t regret it!

This place was super hard to find. There is parking but it is limited space. The manager/operator was super nice and she spoke several languages. Short walk to a beach. As with most places in DR, you either get warm water or water pressure. Here you didn’t get either. It was nice to have a big fridge and microwave. The pool area and gardens were gorgeous. I found the bathroom to be a little neglected with cleaning: around the bottom of the toilet and around the taps/fixture in the shower was quite grimy. There is a restaurant around the corner named Alex’s that is so delicious and reasonable.

I was a late check-in from airport yet that wss no problem for this lovely place. Room was large and comfortable, large fridge, coffee maker, tv and water which i appreciated. Some coffee for coffee maker would have been great tho. Contact beforehand was fast and responsive.

Cheap, and you get what you pay for. Would not return not reccomend.

+ Very friendly administrator + in center of Boca Chica - condition of apartment requires repair (white mold on the walls) - air conditioner was dirty (we had to wash it) photo attached - cleaning is not every day - no elevator

Apartment located in a central area. Apartment was clean. The only issue was the tablecloth on the table. That needed to be changed.

The staff being Haitian, we spoke creol which wasa treat for me and them. Very friendly people.

Terrific msnager makala

The host was super attentive and sweet! I was able to contact her at any time of the day and she was very responsive. The only way in and out is through a big fence that has a lock and cameras at every angle. It is super safe and private . They had menus available for food delivery from local restaurants . Everything was great the only thing was the wifi didn't work inside the room , only outside by the pool . Everything else was great ! :)

Nice location right in front the Dunes , the site is pretty clean , personal friendly, room was perfect with a nice view and a balcony to enjoy the landscape with a good bottle of wine purchased on site ! we’ll definitely be back! cheers

I love the pool and the places around the area.

Pretty good for the price overall. The Wifi wasnt as good as I would have liked it to be, very inconsistent, and the bathroom could use a little bit of work, but overall a decent hotel. Boca Chica is a little rough around the edges, but as a black traveler, I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. Also the hotel property is gated and has cameras so your completely safe in your hotel.

I liked the location and parking. Room was very clean and perfect for what I needed it for

The property is clean and the room was comfortable. What I did not like is there is no security at the gate at night and that you have to walk off the main road for a.minute to get to the property. If you are travelling in a group it is a good affordable prroperty to stay at for a few nights.

Is nice

Gated building with parking inside. Wi-Fi was spotty. Not in the best area of town, but it’s gated and safe on the inside. Pool was nice and clean. Walking distance to restaurants. We got what we expected for the price.
