Staff was friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Everything had a brand new feel to it. The pool, the layout of the rooms, etc. Just gorgeous. It’s about 2.5 km from the heart of Bodrum but if you’re a walker like me it’s no big deal. I discovered a historic site and interesting neighborhoods as I walked to town and back. I would definitely stay there again.

Our plans for staying in Bodrum went sideways and I had to suddenly find something else--- I read all the reviews of this place and booked it! It was such a wonderful little spot-- so clean, friendly staff and perfect for my son who loves to swim. We were lucky enough to be there when the owner's family was visiting, and it was just filled with a family-oriented vibe. I think it probably always is like this--- it is not in the heart of Bodrum, but only a 100 TK ride away which is such a bargain! So glad we stayed, and we ended up making some new friends, as well!

In reality everything was good, for us was really strange to pay the juice and coffee for breakfast usually hotels included this. My suggestion is maybe to inform before or put a note during the buffet because we only knew it when check out. Thank you

This hotel was really nice it was run by a family that knew how to achieve a boutique standard of accommodation. The great thing about this hotel is the level of security, as a lady travelling on her own, I felt very safe and that made for a comfortable stay.

Music by the pool creates a great vibe. One thing I wish they had was black out curtains. Hotel lights in the night light up the room.

Beautiful hotel! Exceptional service. Ms Zainab, Arif , Mustafa, Osman, and all the other staff that have been in the hotel have given me such a wonderful experience. Beautiful spot about an 8 min walk to Gumbet beaches and a 5 min walk to restaurants and clubs. It is nice to be several blocks away from the crazy noise of the party area. The staff is great and rooms are comfy and beautiful; almost all look out onto the pool. Breakfast is typical in the am and they serve basic Turkish food all day/night along with refrigerated drinks that you can charge to your room. All rooms have fridges. The pool closes at 6pm and they play music quite loud at night until 11/12pm.

One of the best hotels that I have stayed in during my trip to Turkey. Staff is very friendly, nice breakfast and good location. Definitely recommend this place.

Not perfect but very good. Modern, comfortable and clean rooms. Good service (special thanks to the hotel manager who took our request personal and solved quickly). Improvement potential of partially served/self-served breakfast, bad smell in bathroom (they took care immediately after mentioning it and tried their best), we stayed next to the reception and it was partially loud,… In total for sure recommended. We enjoyed our stay and big thank you to the team.

Except having very light curtains and a little bit of drain smell our stay was comfortable enough! We would happily stay again.

I carried my suitcase downstairs and upstairs to my room there is no elevator I was almost falling down my slippers were torn when they saw it they got scared and asked for help with my suitcase they were too late I have a phone in my room it doesn't work I said they were interested in it the next day There is no mini bar in my room in 100 degrees heat there is no safe air conditioner one is working one is silent If there is, I don't thank expedi now, because I was wrong, I was seriously considering it as an app, thank you for your survey.

Decent hotel in convenient location.

Overall the stay was comfortable. But they need to notch up their service. E.g. when I asked for an iron, it took them 20 hours and a piece of me before they arranged it. Positive points: Newly built, clean rooms, nice pool, excellent breakfast.

Modern Life Bodrum was a beautiful hotel. Check-in is simple and easy. Our room while clean was tiny for two people with baggage. However, this is not necessarily the hotel's problem being that I booked the more affordable room for my budget. I will say that it is something to consider if you are not traveling by yourself and want more space. We got to the hotel late at night and were hungry. Modern Life was very accommodating to me and my partner by providing us with food well past dinnertime, which we appreciated. The breakfast was excellent. I loved the Kisir; it was very good. I wanted the recipe badly but ended up forgetting to ask before I left (please send the recipe). The bed was okay, nothing to rave about, not too hard but not soft. The shower stall was very tiny. It was so small that I ended up scratching a sizeable chunk of skin off my back when I bent over to pick up the soap that had fallen. Overall, I would stay at Modern Life again but in a bigger, more spacious room. Modern Life Bodrum Otel is a good value overall.

The hotel was clean and had many good points. The staff were excellent, the room was small but clean although it did not have everything that the Hotel.com site said it would have. There was no safe in the bedroom for example. The bathroom had no rainforest type shower head, just a small regular one and the bathroom had a slight drain smell, which could have been fixed by a Air wick style air freshener. Otherwise we had no issues. The air conditioner was amazing and was quiet enough to sleep to. The fridge in the room was helpful and water was provided, a nice touch. The breakfast was tasty and consisted of fresh bread and cooked items and cheeses and jams. There was plenty of Turkish Çay / Tea and coffee if you asked for it. The breakfast area was properly spaced around the pool, which looked amazing. Unfortunately we had no time to try it this visit. Would I stay again, yes I would although probably in a slightly bigger room. You can walk to the beach in Gümbet, where there are local bars and a great ice cream kiosk. There are local shops where you can bring back food to store in the fridge if you are on a budget. If you can't live without Starbucks there is one 12 minutes walk away in Oasis. The Taxi from the Bus Station costs 25TL and there are buses although you will need a travel card from the bus station. We would definitely stay in this hotel again. Although our room was next to the road it was quiet and the staff kept my wifes laptop safe for her as we went out.
