Very nice hotel but the room we were placed in was not clean. There was rice between the seat cushions on one of the chairs and I found a contact lens on the floor near the bathroom. Bedside table had something spilled that was never cleaned as well. Really disappointing for that price. The hotel was beautiful and nostalgic.

The bathroom floor was wet as if there was a leak. The hardware was also loose and the faucet and hand-held shower head did not work properly.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. On premise restaurant was amazing and close to other food and drink options. Really beautiful hotel with clean, modern rooms.

Perfect for our stopover on the way to the mountains. Everyone is super friendly and inviting, the rooms are nicely remodeled, dogs are allowed, and the restaurant is very tasty!

Such a perfectly restored boutique hotel. We love the thoughtful decor of this little gem. Service and food were excellent, and everything was spotless. The only complaint I have was that there was quite a bit of noise around our room that went on late into the night. Not sure if it was guests or hotel staff, but I ended up turning up the volume of the tv to drown it out.

Nice property. It was built in 1926 and although the rooms were clean and renovated, there seemed to be an old smell. Nothing too ridiculous. I ended up booking a second night so that will tell you I wind up being very comfortable.

I've stated many hotels across the Southern United States. I have never felt more welcomed. Next time I have a business trip or personal in this area guaranteed this is my first pick.

Great hotel and worth the cost! This hotel is exceptionally clean and well appointed. Service was great and staff so friendly and wonderful. Restaurant Toscana was excellent! Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel, great people and just a good place to crash after driving 8 hrs. Reception team were nice , Lauren checked me in and grateful for Krystal, for breakfast. Our room seems not ready for us. No hand soup, dirty, cracked tub tile but comfy bed and firm soft pillows. It was sunday, so its feels like a ghost town, nothing much happening, they have lovely restaurant, had our dinner and breakfast. It was just ok experience for us. Thank you Barfield!

Really stunning and super dog friendly property! We are driving cross country and found the Barfield to be high quality and superb services for our stay. They even served us breakfast in the bar so our pup could stay with us. Highly recommend!
