Great stay. Friendly staff. Comfortable and clean room.

I needed a room for a couple of nights for an event in Wichita Falls and Decatur was the perfect location in between there and Dallas. There was a misunderstanding on my part cuz of the app. The Manager / Owner Champ was very nice and accommodating with helping me get it all straightened out. He truly was a CHAMP! For the price, it was nice sized room, cold ac on a blazing hot Texas day, very clean and comfortable quiet night stay, and breakfast in the morning. Located right off of the highway and close to all the restaurants and stores, Walmart, Dollar General, Whataburger, Braums, Chilis etc. glad I chose the Lone Star Inn. Whenever I need to return to the area this will be my go to place to stay!

I was very comfortable and the service was very good.

The bathroom is outdated, the bed is comfortable and the general manager (Owner) Champ is top notch customer service. Very friendly and helpful.

The property is three minutes from the medical facility where we were going to be.

The GM was friendly; prompt service. Convenient location to the highway, shops and restaurants. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast was all you need - waffles, cereal, fruit, coffee.

Overnight stay on way to Amarillo. Room was on end close to main road and had a hard time sleeping. I heard Semi trucks down shifting as coming into town all night. Room was nice for the price.

It’s not what it was advertised and I am very suspect on the positive reviews. No elevator, the sheets on the beds were the worst I’ve ever seen. The good news, there may have been 3 guests, so the word is getting out to stay away.

Nice room, clean & comfortable

This is a basic, no thrills hotel. It had a nice, firm bed with very clean sheets. There were four pillows on the bed, alternating between firm and soft. The room had been recently painted, and the furniture was in good shape. The fridge worked great. I did not use the microwave. The bathroom was spacious. There was enough counter space for two people's toiletries items. The shower tub was spacious. The water pressure could have been a little stronger. The hotel staff were very nice and courteous. The WiFi worked great! The continental breakfast was "anemic" on choices. Basically, it was waffles, two cold cereals, oatmeal, and bananas. Water, orange juice, and milk were kept in jugs in a small refrigerator on the counter. Luckily the hotel is located near a number of fast food establishments. Overall, I was pleased with my stay there. It was a good deal for the rate I paid. I would stay here again!

We booked non-smoking room, yet our room reeked of stale cigarette smell. We were put on the 3rd floor and the elevator was out of order. Form the looks of the parking lot, the hotel could not have even been booked half full. The breakfast menu was poor.

Average place to stay. It’s next to the highway and it’s older, so you will hear traffic and the room A/C unit quite well. Bring your own coffee pot as the rooms don’t have one. Turning in and out of the parking lot is challenging due to the high traffic road that it is on.

It is nothing fancy, but the hotel was super clean- and the owner & his family were so kind.

This place is nowhere near an 8 ranking. The towels were all stained, the sheets were dingy, and for a non smoking room the bathroom was covered with cigarette burns. The hallways smelt like wet carpet and cigarette smoke. I Called the front desk around 9pm the night of my stay to asked for a late checkout of an hour. The front desk person was rude and said anytime over the check time time would cost an additional $25. No questions asked. Then he had the nerve to call at 10:30 the next morning INSISTING that I check out by the 11am normal checkout time. Which I more than did. All this while there were plenty of rooms available and only 6 cars in the parking lot. This hotel may be cheaper than most in the area, but not even worth the price paid.

There was boogers on the shower walls and shower curtain! I asked manager for a clean room and he said they were booked up but there was only 6 cars in the parking all night because I checked a few times throughout the night. I’ll never go again!!

The manager was friendly and efficient. Answered all the questions about the check out and breakfast.

Very nice smart and clean motel. Breakfast offered was extremely good. All that we wanted and more. Would highly recommend.

Very clean and comfortable. "Breakfast" was a bit minimal, but still typical for a continental breakfast at most budget hotels. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will likely stay here again whenever traveling this direction.

It was quite and clean super comfortable , felt very safe and customer service was very good people were sweet and respectful.

The room was very nice and the host was very friendly and outgoing. He was a little goofy and overbearing about whether we had any pets with us. We didn't have any but he seemed very suspicious about it. But overall it was well worth it and I would stay there again.

Bathroom door lock wont Work properly. Ñot enough shampoo, rinse and soap for Two persons. Poor breakfast.

Charged more for room choice after arrival (queens) and charged more for 3rd person (child). Room was clean but common areas were dirty.

You can’t be the value of this hotel. Although it’s older & lacks the aesthetics of fancier hotels, I would recommend staying here. I stayed 2 nights & I was satisfied with my stay. The breakfast is just waffles, cereal & not so great coffee options. It a short drive to Starbucks so no worries. I would definitely stay here again.
