It was a great stay. They are super attentive and pleasant hosts, the accommodations are very comfortable and they even have some super friendly dogs. We hope to be able to return for a longer stay. We highly recommend it.

Wonderful hosts. Beautiful period house. The bed was of really poor quality….and coupled with the noisy Main Street we had poor sleep.

I love everything, the house is beautiful from inside out, immaculately clean, and quiet we slept like a babies lol.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nicklin House. Paul and Dominique were the perfect hosts. Paul's breakfasts were exceptional and we really appreciated the authentic period details of the home. We had a lovely time staying with them.

The place is beautiful, very clean and cozy and the outside garden is amazing. This house has character. The host was very nice and the breakfasts were very good ad healthy. The bathroom needed a little bit of repairs but nothing major just the towel holder that fell while inn the shower. The place is beautiful and we will definitely go back if we are in the area. The price was good and the the beach, the provincial park and the boat to embark for Pelee Island was a minute drive. We absolutely loved our stay. Thank you for the wonderful stay and we must say Leamington is an absolutely beautiful little place.

We stayed at Nicklin House for two nights and all I can say is all good things. The place is clean feels like your home with all amenities and consumables are within reach and available. Paul the owner is very nice and always checking what need. Even he look after our dog when we are having breakfast. The Breakfast is fantastic and is really good. The property is well preserve with historic character.
We will definitely if given a chance to be the area again.

Dominique and Paul are great hosts, as one would expect from people with years of experience in the hospitality industry. Staying with them is reminiscent of visiting a distant relative. They are attentive, polite and helpful without being intrusive. Guests will appreciate the small things, such as the deluxe soap, abundant towels, complimentary bottled water, well decorated rooms and pride that their century home exudes. And, to top it off, they have a select menu of thoughtfully prepared food available. I was quite pleased with the Portuguese-style breakfast and fantastic espresso provided for a reasonable sum. Leamington also offers an atmospheric downtown (I did visit on a Friday night) as well as a beach and waterfront park well worth exploring. Whether you are passing through or using it as a base to explore the region, this is an excellent choice.

The house was cute and easy to access. Simple self check in. Our only complaint was that the room doors had vintage key locks. Well our key stopped working and we were locked INSIDE our room for over a half hour. Tried calling the host but they didn’t answer. It was 11:30pm. Thankfully after yelling for help another guest heard and unlocked our door with their key! So all guest can access each others room.

I am a birder and it has been years since I have stayed at a Bed and Breakfast; if you’re up early and out until late, you miss the amenities…
But I enjoyed my first night so much that I booked another night on my return trip back to the Toronto Airport when they had a cancellation. Pricing is very reasonable, too.
Dominique and Paul are top-notch, gracious hosts and awesome Canadians that did many small things to enhance my travels. They offered to ready my room earlier when I was getting off a red-eye flight. I enjoyed Dutch pancakes and fresh fruit (and the much-needed coffee!). And I tried my first Portuguese beer!
The rooms are cozy and they offer amenities, like slippers to walk around in (shoes and socks get sandy at Point Pelee) and a much-appreciated tissue pack. The rooms are very comfortable and there are silk sheets on the bed!
They also contribute to support the community with a community pantry outside to support migrant workers, some of whom I met and are very nice people. Best wishes to Dominique in her new business adventures!

We enjoyed our stay at Nicklin House, much more interesting than booking into a chain hotel. The hosts were welcoming, the attention to details in each of our rooms was impressive. Our stay there added fond memories to our first visit to Pelee. Thank you!

Everything was as promised. Rooms are not large but clean and well furnished. The hospitality is huge. Thoughtful gestures like a basket to use for beach picnic.

Excellent location close to the Ontario Wine country. This beautifully kept 1920's home was cozy and comfortable. The owners, Dominique and Paul were excellent hosts. We felt like old friends. The house has a wonderful back yard with a great patio kitchen complete with a brick oven and a fireplace. Walk to the downtown area is only a couple of blocks up Erie Ave and the lake shore is a casual 1&1/2 mile stroll down Erie ave. The roomrates are to our surprise, VERY reasonable. Continental breakfast is available. Homey atmosphere and charm are plentiful.

Excellent location for restaurants, shopping, and a leisure stroll. The host was superb who was very accommodating and provided everything we needed. The house was located on the main street but the room was quiet. The host even provided ear plugs, which we did not need, for those who are super sensitive to the street noise. Thank you Paul.

This truly a treasure found . We do not travel extensively but after staying at Nicklin House we are feeling B&B is a real travel option for us. We are retired and found the rates very fair in today's market. The check in was without any isssue. Communication with Expedia and owners were great. Quiet. The continential breakfast was beyong expectation and presentation in the spacious dining area top notch. Hosts were freindly but offered privacy enjoy the breakfast. Restureants near by . You would not know dogs were there. Prince was a Doodle with real charm. Only comment is with stairs may not be able to accomodate those with mobility issues. We were at a Music Festival in Kingston and 15 min away and coming in later after the event was no issue. You cannot go wrong is you feel comfortable in a B&B accomodation.

Great place to hang your hat if you have things to do in the area. Very clean, friendly owners, easy going. You share bathrooms with other guests, but that's not a big deal (there are two well appointed very clean bathrooms) and that concession makes the stay very affordable. A much nicer experience than staying in just about any lower priced hotel. Will stay there again!

The owner gave clear instructions how to get in the property trough text. Very charming house. Everything was clean and well organized. The morning I met Paul and we had a great chat and I had a breakfast fit for a king. I recommend this place and I would stay there again.
