A boutique hotel tuck away from the busy street near to Gokufuji subway station or 20 minutes walk to canal city or 30 minutes walk to hakata station. Room are well maintained and decent room size with air purifier in the room. I realised the staff members don't smile much. I suppose only the bigger room comes with a window view others only to be blocked by the adjacent building. House keeping for 4 days stay and above but changing of towels is available. Comfortable bed and sheets.

The hotel staff very helpful, the hotel not near Hakata station, it takes about 15 mins walk. Near hotel there is bus can take to Hakata station or take subway.

We have stayed at the Hotel Oriental Express hotel at Tenjin and this is basically more or less the same as that one except the rooms are a bit smaller. The location is very convenient which is only a short walk from the Nakasu-Kawabata station. There are also shopping close by like the Kawabata Dori and Donki, and it is actually within walking distance to Canal City as well. For the price we paid, I think this was good value

Very excellent service and management. This hotel is fabulous! The room was very luxurious and clean. Staffs were kind and responsive.
I received the Expedia VIP upgrade and it was very well done. In addition to the luxurious room on the top floor (next to the gym and vending machine), I was given a complimentary ticket to a cafe located in the center (Hakata station). The employees there welcomed me and explained me the options. I chose coffee cake and those were very good.
Location of the hotel is not on the main street, but nonetheless very close to the metros and easy to get to on foot by metro.
Basically, it was the best service you could receive from a non-five-star hotel.

This is a decent hotel in a very exciting neighborhood. Lots going on and easy to get there! It’s not fancy but it was quiet, even during the festival!

Hotel offers option for daily housekeeping or eco-clean where they only change your towels. Cleanliness was acceptable but the bed/pillows were hard/flat and uncomfortable. Room size was OK for 2 and a short stay. Service standard was average due to the language barrier - staff used a translator device, and you may find it hard to communicate in other languages besides Japanese and English. Good location, with a Family Mart at the corner.

Beautiful property! The size of the room was bigger than whatbi received in Japan as a whole! I received Expedia VIP access treatment so i got an upgrade and teo bottles of water. The room and bathrooms are very clean and it is easy to get there from Hakana station or to Hakana international port by bus!

Good value for the money. Hotel is pretty new. A bit far from the train station and between two subway stations. Expect a five minute walk. Breakfast is excellent but is crowded due to tour groups at the hotel. Room is a bit tight with not much space if you have more than one piece of luggage.

Stayed here late Oct/early Nov. Good amenities and generally clean, though some corners/shelves of the room were a bit dusty. Easy & quick to walk to nearby konbinis and bus stops. Canal City was a 10-15min walk.
We wish we researched parking a bit better because we were way over-charged for parking on hotel premises. Better to park across the street in the parking garage, or clarify with the hotel their parking policies.
Overall a decent stay for the price, just triple-check the parking situation!

the staffs are all friendly, especially Mr. Shing, he was so kind to explain the hotel room and membership at our first stay here. We used to stay in Oriental Hakata station.
Good to receive a ticket for our stay this trip at Cafe Cross Point, their cake pastries are all delicious.
I am sure we will be back to the same hotel group in our next visit.
