Front desk was very friendly and the place very clean

This was a great experience. The staff was very polite and hospitable. The room is clean and spacious, and has everything you need to be comfortable. The property is older, and therefore the outside shows age, but the rooms are very clean, comfortable and updated. I felt safe the whole time and will definitely stay here again.

Very neat, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. We purchased vacant property in the area about a year ago. Since there is no place to stay and plenty of work to do, we have been searching for the accommodations Regal Inn has to offer. With their very reasonable pricing, we have found our home away from home while we prepare to build our new home! We look forward to our next visit.

Newly updated. Great price. No pool or breakfast.

The room seemed clean but could use some work. Dirty walls, dirty baseboards, etc. The air was not on when I arrived. It’s too hot in south Florida to not have it on but I’m pretty sure there’s a reason for that. It took over a hour to cool the room down. Front staff was nice and helpful. The area itself is sketchy and transients seem to hang out close by. Be sure to carry if you’re not comfortable. The pictures of the room online are similar but not exactly what it is. If you’re not worried about anything mentioned above then this is your kind of place.

Stayed here for the first time. I always stay in Lake City as it is the half way point between where I live now and home. I usually stay at Howard Johnson but never again. This hotel is freshly renovated and it is apparent that EVERYTHING is new. New beds, new microwave, new mini fridge and freezer. New bathtub new sink/vanity, new floors...you get the point. The room was spotless and the price can't be beat. This will be the first of many stays.

excellent room, Outside a lot run down with trash in back

Owners very nice and accommodating. Rooms are clean, quiet and definitely worth the price. One of the better hotels in lake city at an affordable price definitely recommend this hotel to family, friends, coworkers, etc.

you walk in the front desk and you're at an indian "gas station" not very inviting and smelling like curry.. The doors to the rooms are painted in pastel colors Pink, yellow, green, light blue. Opened the door and was pleasantly surprised. no dirt carpet but nice flooring and the beds well made. Clean inside. AC was off where i think they should have turned it on being its florida and summer time. Bathroom had hot water and everything was clean. Bed sucked! i slept the worst night ever, Couldnt get comfortable. Felt like i was laying on a 4x8 plywood with 1" of foam. Horrible night! I gave it 1 star for comfort because of that bed. overall a 3 star.

The Ritz Carlton it is not, beds are meh BUT if you are looking for a clean, affordable place to spend a couple of night, then itgets the job done. It's near EVERYTHING (restaurants, groceries, gas). It's right off of I-75. I would mind staying here again.

Overall the room was nice and clean. Frustrated over the fact that a room with a king bed was reserved. Upon arrival I was told that there was no king bed nonsmoking available. When I exclaimed that I would like what I requested, the lady at the counter got snarky and told the owner on the phone what I said. They assured me tha there was no rooms available. BOTH nights during the trip there was a room 5 doors down that had a king bed in it that was in fact not being used. Don’t get your hopes up you’re getting what you requested.

We stay at the hotel once a month for my Husband’s drill. We love it and will not stay anywhere else

Checked in and checked out. Beds had hair in them, changed rooms and those beds had hair and cigarette burns in them. Not clean! Attendant was asleep in motorized chair when we got there. Pot smokers next door.

Perfect cheep place for one night on the road.

Bums all around told me since I had dog could not get king bed room I ordered but now had to take 2 full beds. Not $10 not $20 but $30 pet fee I was furious and told front desk woman who did not care. Never again

A great value for the cost! Compared to other places to stay in the area, this older motel represents a great value for the price considering that every one else is charging an average of two hundred dollars per night for essentially the same thing. The Regal is older, the rooms are more spartan, but the place is very clean the service is good and the desk staff is friendly and accommodating. They charge a thirty dollar fee for pets, and require a fifty dollar deposit that’s returned to you after your stay. This is quite reasonable when you consider their nightly room rates are more than half the cost of other nearby hotels and motels. I highly recommend this establishment!

If you have a chance to stay in the Lake City area, this is the place to spend your night. Convenient to the highway and a great value. Bonus....walking distance to restaurants and Tesla chargers

This was a DYI renovated room. Not bad. The AC was ancient and noisy, but worked. Would consider staying again.

Old Motel, but very clean inside, recently updated rooms in the last 4 years I understand. I like the barn door to restroom, it really saves space, plus a good look. hard floors, good paint choices. They only have a coffee pot in office, so I would like to see them add coffee to the rooms. Compared to surrounding hotels, good price, comfortable room. Park outside your room door. Would stay here again.

The water pressure is low and the towels don’t look clean

Property looked so unsavory that we didn't stay. Very unwelcoming, shady characters mulling about, and overall not someplace I would recommend for anyone to stay.

The room was clean and updated. The bed was comfortable. The only problem we had was the water pipe busted and our room was flooded. They quickly moved us to another room.
