Superb hotel

The place embodies an extraordinary bet made good on: a historic old Arsenal--a place for making artillery in Delft's old days--has been transformed into a modern inn unlike any other. The original footprints are all still there, but now they make possible a unique array of charming rooms and vivid (indeed memorable) social spaces. We were blown away by our overnight here, and I recommend it highly. Delft is a little jewel unto itself, and I can't imagine a better perch for visiting it. Philip W

The room was spacious and had a great view. The lobby is very nicely decorated and the breakfast was great. Just a short walk over to the market area.

Beautiful historic building. Great location and unique. 5 star quality building and location but staffing and amenities are 3 to 4 star. They could do so much more with this property and location. There is no gym or any real amenities. No restaurant except for the breakfast. Plenty of space to better amenitize the property if they were so motivated. Staff is a little lazy.

Apparently the hotel was renovated from a building built in the 1600s, and the interior was very beautiful and comfortable.

This was our favorite hotel of the trip! We stayed two nights and loved the aesthetics of the Hotel Arsenaal. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast included was nice to have and the room which it is served is so beautiful. I am very pleased we stayed here after researching multiple different options in Delft.

I had a beautiful stay. The hotel is spotless and was in a great location. They had a lovely breakfast of pastries, fruits etc plus the option to order eggs and bacon. They also have a beautiful bar which is open til 11pm. Overall a very enjoyable stay

There wasn't anything I didn't like about this property. Beautiful boutique hotel in a historic building. Well appointed rooms, great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. I will be back again.

A wonderful hotel full of historic character and modern amenities, the staff were so helpful and the food delicious (including plenty of gluten free options)..

Friendly staff, comfortable bed. Great location - quiet but easily walkable to the station, shops and restaurants. Good breakfast although we had a mixed experience over the 4 days when ordering hot food from the menu. During check-in, we were asked to choose a time slot for breakfast - there was no sign of anyone checking name or room number in the mornings however. Overall, a pleasant stay.

I’ve travelled to six countries in the past month and this was my favorite hotel. Architecturally stunning, but also the attention to detail. For example, our bed was super cozy with four big fluffy pillows. The hotel was full, but our room was so quiet. The breakfast buffet is fabulous with the best fresh pastries of my trip and the best assortment of juices. Our last morning we ate breakfast in front of a big window overlooking the peaceful canal…it was so tranquil. And everyone who works there is cheerful and kind. We loved it!

Loved this place. A wonderful location in a wonderful city. Outstanding staff. And perhaps the most beautiful and unique hotel we’ve stayed in during 40 years of international travel.

We booked 2days’ stay here while in Delft. It was one of the best experiences in a European or U.S. hotel. Staff was fantastic, room wonderful— they up graded us to the “honeymoon” suite from a superior room for my 70th birthday. They had banners and balloons in the suite on our arrival. Included breakfast was fantastic— great croissants as well as great cooked breakfast and all the European breads, cheeses, yogurts, fruits, etc. Lobby bar wonderful for a glass of wine. If we go back to Delft, this is the place to stay.

This place was remarkably remodeled only a couple of years ago. It is in convenient location for getting to the main square quickly & passing many restaurants and fun shopping along the way. The room was small but very comfortable with a great bed and a very nice bathroom. I would highly recommend this and would stay here again if I am back in Delft!

Such a beautifully done hotel - sensitive to history, but with all the modern conveniences. Bed was wonderfully comfortable and the location and breakfast were great.

We stayed 5 nights/days at Hotel Arsenaal and we thoroughly enjoyed every single one! This is an exceptional property with a five star staff. Everyone was kind and helpful. Maud, at the reception, was absolutely delightful and a supreme professional. Thanks again Maud for making our stay so perfect! The hotel is casually elegant - the rooms are cozy with lovely amenities. Beautiful linens, padded hangers for delicates, a room Ipad, and bathrobe/slippers. We included breakfast with our stay and it was a great decision. There was a good selection of buffet items as well as a menu with eggs, bacon, etc. The location, on a beautiful canal, is a quick walk from the train/bus station- we had a large suitcase and it was not a problem to walk at all. We cannot imagine anyone not enjoying their stay at this hotel as well as in Delft. Enjoy your visit!
