The owner John was an absolute delight! He gave us lots of great tips of what we could do around town, and was unbelievably friendly. The house was super clean and John let us borrow his washing machine and dryer. There was even a nice and toasty fireplace for us to roast our marshmellows. If we ever come back to Devonport then we know where we'll be staying!

The only thing was that the water gets super hot - careful not to burn yourself!

Everything was there that I needed to recuperate from my adventures and prepare for the next one. John was friendly and helpful while allowing me to make myself at home and do my own thing. The house is handy to the town centre and to the beach and bluff and in a quiet location. The fresh vegetables in the garden were a bonus!

John is lovely and welcoming. Instantly felt at home. Beautiful back yard with an apricot tree. Walking distance to the beach and lighthouse. Will definitely catch up when we’re back! Thank you! Sophie and Mitch

The location was fairly close to all services. The host was very approachable and friendly.

I found it tricky standing in the shower without a shower mat.

John was a very welcoming host and was also very helpful in giving us tips about Cradle Mountain and other local knowledge. There were snacks/fruit available and a good breakfast. We could also join him in the lounge room and enjoy a pleasant outdoor area.

The bedroom was warm ( but had opening windows) but it was 37 in Melbourne that day..There was no fan or A/C but I doubt it would be needed too often..

Wonderful accommodation. Close to everything clean and tidy. Looking forward to staying there again in the future. Thanks

excellent stay at room @88, John is the perfect host AND guide. His house is comfortable and fully equipped. I recommend room @88 and 'Discover my Devenport' as a guide to the city.
