Great location! Right in the heart of Seattle. Walkable to most places or a quick bus/train/car ride away. We walked 75% of the time and split the other 25% between ubers and buses. In a very bustling area of Capitol Hill with lots of restaurants and shops around. Food recommendation shoutout to Pinoyshki Bakery and Kedai Makan! Despite being literally right next to the highway, the noise level was unexpectedly low. I was initially hesitant to book and still worried afterwards because sometimes I am sensitive to noise at night while sleeping. However, I did not have any problems here at all. You could still hear some light noise, but it was very low and almost background-like. Particularly at night, there are much fewer cars on the road so it's even quieter. They also kindly provide ear plugs and a white-noise machine for customers to use. Room itself was spacious and new. Had all the cookware we needed to make a couple meals during our 5 night stay. I would definitely come back again!

A small table apart from the two bedside tables would have been appreciated when we ate in the room because we either ate standing at the countertop or sitting on the bed, worried we would get the sheets dirty.

the elevators would work then not work like you’d put the code in then press the number n it wouldn’t move up or down then open the door again or if you pressed the button to get the elevator it takes a long time

The room I booked online (exact room photos not just general listing) looked nothing like the room I was placed in, it was super dark facing a cement wall with small window, which I would not have booked. I had to argue with customer service for 3.5 hours on the phone getting different answers from each person to change my room to a better one. One of them said they’d switch for free, then the next said they won’t switch and also would charge me $600+ to “upgrade the room, even though this was their issue. After being on the phone for hours, I finally got them to switch rooms for a portion of the trip only. I’ve stayed in 3 different Sonders in different cities but this will be my last Sonder stay based on this experience.

We didn't like the fact the code to our apartment didn't work and our Internet wasn't working so we could email anyone for help until an elderly lady came out to help us...after travelling for 12 hours we didn't need that hassle .. we spent 1 hour waiting to get through to someone to help us out....in end we we're put in different apartment only then to get texts the next morning from sonders telling us to check out.... We had 2 people trying to get into out apartment one night and the smell of cannabis around the building was horrendous.. I've booked and stayed in apartments many times in different cities and I've never had any problems but I won't use the sonder group again...

Erg blij met deze accommodatie. Perfect gelegen je loopt zo de stad in, totaal geen onveilig gevoel. Veel horeca om je heen. Het appartement was schoon en heel ruim. Lekker groot bed met veel kussens, een heerlijk bad. Ook wanneer je een vraag had mbt Sonder en er moest iets geregeld worden dan kon je dat meteen via de app regelen. Heb meteen een Sonder geboekt op een andere locatie. Ik ben fan

Great location, very nice kitchenette, comfortable/big bed with lots of pillows, ear plugs and sound machine provided to help with noise. Friendly staff and easy to get a hold of someone via app.

Couldn’t turn AC below 67 (we like it really cool!), water pressure in shower was terrible. Just as expensive as hotel, but not as nice.

after reading the comments, I was worried that it would be noisy, but instead it was one of the quietest hotels I ever stayed in. maybe it has to do with the room, ours was overlooking the street and not the highway. it was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and felt more like a home than a hotel. the shower was spacious and a big extra for me was the fact that they had davines products in the shower, which is the best professional hair brand! I liked the extra touches, like the ear plugs. it was super easy to check in and I found it very convenient that you do not have to carry a key with you. I enjoyed the app, the chat was really responsive and the suggestions around the neighborhood came up handy. the location was also the best. close to so many restaurants, cafes and bars, on a busy street that makes you feel safe at all times. I will definitely look for a sonder on other destinations. as a couple, we are quite "demanding" and many times we have changed room or even hotel because it was not up to standards. so to find something that we enjoyed so much, was a really pleasant surprise.

The location was great and the inhouse facilities were well thought. It was practical in all aspects.

It was by the highway and there was constant noise when you were inside. Due to the design, you can't open any windows. You refresh air only by climatization.

Online check in was difficult. Site wouldn't accept my drivers licence. Was not notified that it hadn't gone through until I rang with another query. Finding the property was a nightmare. It was not located at the google maps site, but a few blocks down from the expected location.

Room was clean and well stocked with all you need for your stay.

Could not figure out the laundry room code

The security, the luggage storage was fantastic, the top up items eg toilet paper, dishwasher tablets & the laundry was very handy.

You could see straight in the window, I thought it would be reflecting window glazing! But no we found people from the business next door looking in ! No dining table, with a kitchenette you would think somewhere to sit & eat would be supplied. Very noisy at night on the weekend no regard for other inhabitants . It was hard to use the laundry as other users didn’t come back & remove their laundry to free up washers/ dryers . Other than that we had a pleasant stay & utilised the early & late checkout function.

Sonder at Pivot is an apartment hotel on several floors in a contemporary building with young residents. My spacious, bright and comfortable room was fully and thoughtfully equipped with kitchen utensils and appliances. The picture windows (which could be opened) looked out on the city with buses on Pine Street. Terrace on the roof and Neko Cat Cafe nearby!

I never met any staff members face-to-face. It took me a while to learn the various door codes, but the staff was gracious and quick to help via text or phone. Cable TV was a Ruku.

The facility was very clean. The room was comfortable. It was a good location with several good restaurants within walking distance. The metro link was also just a short walk away.

Our door code was not good and we were very fortunate that someone was working that day as both of our phones had died after a day of travel. He was able to call and we received new door codes. It would have been nice if there was a small table to eat at in the room.

super nice rooms the view from the rooftop top is amazing. The Pivot is so close to downtown Seattle . There is no daily housekeeping so that was a little disappointing but I did call to get fresh towels and toilet paper and they had someone bring them to our room within minutes. They had a great tub super deep and plenty of hot water for showers .

The quality of the room is really good. Customer support seemed quite responsive and fast through their app, same thing with the whole automated check-in thing. Wifi was speedy and stable. The location is amazing for a first time visit to Seattle, I was a 10 minute walk away of pretty much everything I wanted to do or see. All in all, I would come back to this Sonder, though perhaps would book another type of room that has a better view.

There is one glaring omission in this room -- there is a well equipped kitchen with no table whatsoever to actually eat or drink what you've cooked! It's really puzzling. The view of my particular room wasn't great, as it faced an office building some 3-5 meters away. If you put the sofa in the right spot, you could get a glance at the street, however.

Good location near down town and capitol hill. Well equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Clean and good and nice comfy bed.

There is constant traffic noise. If you're from a big city or are used to noise it wouldn't be a problem. Ear plugs are provided
