The location was right for us (travelling from Roscoff to the Vendee on a busy Saturday we wanted a stopover close to Nantes with a restaurant and easy parking.).
It was quiet, pleasant being near the lake.
We enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast was also very good.
The bed was comfortable; we were grateful for the electric fan provided.
Staff excellent.
We were there by about 15h and had to hang around before reception opened at 18h (although we knew that was hotel policy). This would probably mean we’d choose somewhere else another time.

fantastic- tranquil environment. travelling up from Hendaye to Brittany. brilliant stop over and a fabulous meal.

The situation, calm & easy parking, near main roads but tranquil.
Claustrophobic hotel interior, dingy grey narrow stairs & corridors. Little bathroom space & blocked basin.
Dinner menu lacked choice. Good breakfast but laid out a bit late- things generally a bit disorganised.

The location, near the lake, is lovely. We had a nice walk around it at dusk and it was very nice!
The staff was very kind and helpful. Michelle in particular was fantastic, very patient and supportive! And he speaks a great English, which in our experience over the past few days is not common in turist accomodations in France... Thanks a lot!
The room was particularly hot because the temperature outside was very high these days. However, we managed well!

Very well decorated rooms, very clean. This hotel is so well placed with beautiful view over the lake.

A beautiful location, beside the small lake - nice to walk around after dinner or before breakfast.
A nice terrace area for a relaxing drink, before dinner.
A superb restaurant with great service for the evening meal. Breakfast too.
I learnt in this trip that friendly, helpful people at the places you stayed really made the difference - It started at Coté Lac.
Glad I had GPS - it was a little difficult to find.
Also a little further out from Saint Nazaire than I thought, but it was a 20 min trip only.

Friendly staff. Good access to beautiful walks. Excellent breakfast in attractive surroundings.

The lake: so close you can hear the ducks. Shaded walks and illicit swimming on a hot afternoon. Great food in the restaurant, which also has a fabulous terrace.
I was there in August and would have liked a fan in my room. Then again, I didn't actually ask for one.
