Check-in experience was a nightmare. Cleaning team still there past 4pm. Hot tub was still filling up. Keys didn’t work. Grill didn’t work—was out of propane. But they were very nice and apologetic but crazy how disorganized it was. Beds not comfortable at all for $1,000+ per night.

Adequate parking.

We did not stay in the house we reserved. On arrival we found that the area had been hit by a storm and electricity was out since 2 days prior. We weren't notified of this until (and by e-mail -who reads emails while driving) we were less than an hour from the location (our drive was 4 hours long) that day. We tried the contact number on the contract 8 times (started at 3:30pm) on arrival and NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. Called the maintenance person as we wanted to turn on the gas heater to keep warm (we had no heat, lights or hot water). Maintenance said he could not help us and gave us the "owners" number, which we called twice and finally received a call back about 4 hours later (9pm). The person (Sarah) who called us back finally moved us to another house (as per contract) about 3 miles away that was fully functioning, however, the location did not have the same amenities, view, etc., we paid for. The replacement home was somewhat centrally located and comfortable, however needs some serious sprucing up and cleaning. The shower in the master bedroom was moldy and full of spider webs. We understand that the storm that knocked out power was an act of God, however, the company which manages these rentals (The Wave Houses) really need to regroup. Contact people sooner about issues! Why no response from your designated contact office at 3:30pm on a Monday afternoon? Why couldn't the maintenance person help us? Why did it take owners intervention to resolve the issue at 9:00pm? This also happened last summer when initially renting the house. We repeatedly called the contact numbers on the contract for help. Did not receive a call back until 2 days later. So, the bottom line is this...original house is great, however, if you need help or questions answered good luck. Basically they have your money and you are on your own. I will think long and hard before I rent from them again or refer them to any of my friends/family.

The view of thr ocean was amazing!! i love that thr hot tub was were I csn see the sunset and the ocean. Kitchen was fully stocked with with all the appliances and supplies you need . By far the best home away from home for my family and me. Would definitely come back.

We had an issue with the kitchen door key and attempted to contact the number given for property assistance. We made at least 4 calls to the number with no call back. We called again the next day and someone answered but with no acknowledgement of our attempts to contact them. He then sent someone to assist us in resolving the issue. Perhaps giving the instructions about this lock/key it's own heading would help instead of it being part of the backyard gate code paragraph.

The View! And, everything was quite nice as far as the amenities, furniture, layout.

Booking.com I wanted to stay another night but B.com doesn’t have the capability to add another night without canceling the original reservation…. In fact when I tried to ad on and put it on another bank ACCOUNT they kept charging the original card credit union causing a fraud alert over and over again
