Luulimme saavamme aamiaisen majapaikassa kuten esitteessä luki. Sitä emme kuitenkaan saaneet. Asunnosta puuttui myös perustarvikkeet: suola, pippuri yms asioita, joita olemme tottuneet löytämään vastaavissa majoituspaikoissa. Asunto ei myöskään avautunut puutarhaan, kuten esitteessä luki vaan sisääntulopihalle.

Everything was very good. Max and his wife was very pleasant and helpful. There was other guests with dogs, and it worked out very well with our young dog…

We were hosted by Max and his dog Diva, who also live on the premises. His lovely accommodation is a great temporary home for visiting many neighboring villages like Cortona. The appartment was clean and the beds and facilities were very nice. Would highly recommend staying at Podere Il Belvedere su Cortona!

Max is a wonderful host, breakfast was super with lots of choice and delicious cakes and there was lots of space and nice sunbeds around the pool
For us nothing, but the location is quite remote (no shops etc close by, ~10 min) so you have to take that into account

The courtesy and kindness of the staff are exceptional. Our breakfast (we went for the "Italian style" breakfast) was breathtaking: loads and loads of delicious treats, most of which were homemade.
Superb location: the place overlooks a valley of green fields dominated by the city of Cortona, definitely doing justice to its namesake "Belvedere su Cortona" ("the great view on Cortona"). It's strategically located between Siena, Arezzo, and Perugia and a stone throw from places off the beaten track like Castiglion Fiorentino and Cortona.
The room we got was very spacious and perfectly clean. There's a small playground on site that our little one visibly appreciated. Literally cannot recommend this place enough, the value for the money we got just cannot be beaten.

The service from the owner and his wife was exceptional! The breakfast was really good and the wife made delicious pastries. Nice spacy garden, with a beautiful pool. The views are splendid and enough cities around to explore and/or to have diner. In case of bad weather the Outlet shopping center is nearby.
And if needed... the washing machine is available.
In the room on the ground floor you can hear sounds from the people above.

The host Max, he helped us a lot by swapping us to a groundfloor apartment due to our toddler of 2 years old. Upon arrival we were super late & he provided us water & breakfast item for next day. Beautiful property, kidfriendly, well kept & clean.

I cannot recommend enough Podere Il Belvedere Su Cortona—the spacious apartment, a small kitchen, access to satellite, superb breakfast, and a magnificent pool.
Located at the right spot in the heart of Tuscany, close to nearly all attractions that Tuscany has to offer; you name it, Cortona, Siena, Montepulciano, Val D'Orcia, and even Florence.
On top of all this, the highlight of our stay was the host, Max. When we arrived, it was like being greeted by friends and family. Max was accommodating with everything in such as friendly manner that it felt like we knew him for a long time.
We cannot wait to return to Podere Il Belvedere Su Cortona and reunite with Max and his family!

Perfectly situated house on top of a hill with beautiful 360 view, also from the - considerably larger than normal - pool. Sufficient chairs around the pool and possibility to sit in the shadow or sun throughout the common areas. Clean, spacious apartment with sufficient air conditioning capacity and well equipped. Shadowed parking spaces and baby cot - including mattress (which is rare) - available. Friendly host and conveniently located in the countryside close to highway and sightseeing locations. And most of all, fairly priced so excellent value for money. Perfect!
Only very small improvement points, the biggest being to add anti-mosquito nets for the windows.
