Everything was perfect! From the amazing location right on the beach in San Agustinillo, the view from the room, the great food and drink service right to our comfortable beach chairs under the umbrellas (thanks girls, you looked after us very well!), the access to great swimming, the short walk to Mazunte, and the parking for our motorcycle!

the restaurant isn’t great. During our stay we had a lot of rain, then Mazunte isn’t the best place to be since there is not much to do.

We had a fabulous time at Punta Placer. The rooms are ON the beach, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to help you. Would you like coconuts? No problem, they found them for us. Would you like a taxi? No problem, called and immediate service. Food is great too. You can eat in the dining area, in your room or on the beach. They will bring it!

The location is awesome, staff very friendly, very nice and cozy hotel architecture and laid back area. Furthermore, a delicious breakfast is offered (not included). The beach is a highlight, especially for everybody who likes big waves.

Just as a good-to-know: you can pay the hotel only cash or via Paypal with extra fees 6% (plus PP conversion fees). But obviously common practice in that area.

The furniture was very comfortable and the single bed was awful. It needs to be replaced.

Being right in front of the water! The restaurant and drinks were delicious. Ifrain was so attentive to us, bringing drinks/food and answering any questions we had.

Location could not be better. Comfortable bed, friendly staff. Room was directly on beach, slept with door open, waking up and immediately seeing the ocean was AMAZING

Room does not have cross ventilation, so needed to sleep with door open. Beach hammocks aren’t hung correctly—they are tight in the middle and loose on sides (extremely uncomfortable)—this is an easy fix. Small Issue, but for the price they should fix this.

Everything. The location is just incredible- a pure paradise. The staff is so nice and helpful. We felt like home.

Actually nothing but if I have to mention one thing, than it would be the „salt water-only“ shower. But that’s no real problem.

No AC. Extremely humid. Also, water in hotel, including shower water, is salt water.

The location was right on the beach, close to my favorite restaurant in town (Umami) and an easy walk to Mazunte. It has a beautiful view of the waves, surfers, and rocks from the balcony. The property was well-maintained and very tidy and beautiful. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The juice is super fresh and yummy! The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

The shower and faucets had salt water which was very disappointing after being salty from the ocean (this was not the case for showers at another place we stayed at in town before here so I know it isn't a town-wide issue). Food/beverage service ends at 6pm which means we couldn't enjoy that during sunset. The hammock on the patio was also extremely uncomfortable because it wasn't hung properly. The wood chairs on the deck and on beach in front of property are also not very comfortable for sitting any extended period of time. The hammock chairs on a few porches had were very comfy but there were only a few. You're right next to the very yummy pizza place - La Termita - which means that every day in the afternoon you can start to smell them firing up the pizza oven which is not always what I wanted to smell
