Dob Cottage è un cottage quasi costruito in pietra in un ambiente piacevole cortile, a pochi passi dal centro del paese con tutti i suoi servizi. Il cottage è dotato di tutti i mod. cons. eppure presenta le travi caratterizzanti così tipiche della zona. La camera da letto al piano terra dispone di 2 confortevoli letti di 3 piedi (possono essere convertiti in doppio) con 300/400 thread count letti in cotone egiziano e materassi a tasca. Il bagno ha un bagno e doccia separata con wc e lavabo .. Al piano superiore è un angolo cottura open space con tutti i comfort moderni, tra cui una 42 "TV a schermo piatto, con lettore DVD.
Non più di due minuti a piedi, ci sono buoni ristoranti, take-away, negozi, bancomat e molte passeggiate in campagna, quindi non c'è bisogno di utilizzare l'auto. C'è un posto auto posto al di fuori della porta del cottage.
L'affascinante villaggio di Holmfirth con i suoi numerosi piccoli negozi e ristoranti, è a soli 5 minuti di auto.

A very well appointed property in a quiet location. The owner lives close by and is friendly and helpful. Plenty to see and do in the area. We can thoroughly recommend this cottage.

Lovely cottage ten out of ten very well equipped with more than enough for anybody to enjoy there stay lovely welcome pack which included a lovely bottle of wine.Highly recommend this accommodation to anybody looking for somewhere to stay in West Yorkshire.

Just right for a couple. Shops close by. Easy access to walks both with and without car. Also good bus and train service to Huddersfield/Manchester/Leeds etc.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the cottage from start to finish and am very much looking forward to going again.
Jenny was a lovely host and welcomed me when I arrived to answer any queries etc.
The accommodation is beautifully decorated with every comfort you could need and an air of tranquility.

The village is lovely with gorgeous walks and very accessible to a wide range of stunning places to visit.

Just a wonderful property. Tucked away in a nice quiet courtyard, but close to the centre of the village. it was the perfect base to do a couple of days walking in the area.
Five stars for every aspect of this one. I will hopefully be revisiting in the future.

We had a great experience staying at Dobb Cottage. Beautifully presented and clean. Beds were comfortable with a pillow choice. Lots of extras in cupboards and a much appreciated welcome pack. It felt like a home from home. Not sure why but I got the impression we would be entering straight into the bedroom but this door is securely locked and we used the door in to the courtyard where the car was parked. Quiet neighbourhood and friendly neighbours. Great pub down the road for dinner (Jacobs Well) but you'll likely have to book!

Thoroughly enjoyed our Easter weekend break in Dob Cottage. The cottage was extremely clean, very comfortable and had a real homely feel. Ideally situated for a variety of shops, eateries & pubs; and just a short drive away from Holmfirth, too. Jenny had very kindly provided “the essentials” along with some extra treats which was a really nice touch. Will definitely be booking a return visit, as soon as we can. Mary & Joe (Liverpool).

Well appointed, clean and comfortable cottage within easy reach of pubs, restaurants and countryside. Excellent transport links in a very friendly village.
Jenny has put a lot of thought into making the cottage a real home from home with special touches including basic provisions and lovely welcome gifts.
Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

Comfortable Holmfirth Cottage
Our stay in Holmfirth was most enjoyable. The standard and cleanliness of Jennys cottage was faultless. The seating area was one of the most comfortable, we have experienced in a holiday let.
Welcome goodies, much appreciated.
Although we didn't need to contact Jenny, after arrival, we knew she was available and near by.

Our second stay at Dob cottage and again the cottage was spotless and comfortable. It is ideally located in Honley centre and in easy reach of lots of interesting and spectacular landscapes.

Perfect place to stay.
Perfect place to stay whilst visiting family in the area.
Had everything that we needed, bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.
On our arrival everything was clean and the central heating was on!
No downside really and we’d be more than happy to go back in the future.

Just Perfect
Stayed at Dob Cottage with my Daughter while visiting my elderly Mum who lives in Honley Village. Jenny was the perfect host, prior and during our stay and knew she was nearby should we have needed anything. Just loved Dob cottage, felt so at home straight away, very comfortable and had everything we needed, even a Christmas tree which was a lovely touch. Lots of thought gone into furnishing Dob Cottage and could have stayed longer. Will defiantly be back and 100% recommend this beautiful place.

Very comfortable cottage
We loved everything about this cottage: it is warm, spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated. It is very conveniently situated for food supplies and eating venues as well as being well located for exploring this part of Yorkshire. Our weekend stay seemed much too short - we were sorry to leave and hope to return before too long.

Lovely, comfortable cottage
My wife had a course to attend at Storthes Hall, and this cottage was ideally close to there. The cottage is in excellent condition and very well equipped. Everything worked. Very comfortable. Shops are within a handful of minutes walk. Numerous eating places within a few minutes walk or drive - Jenny's notes on where to eat were very helpful. Nice to meet Ronnie the French bulldog from next door. The Yorkshire Sculpture Park is worth a visit. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again.

Well equipped, comfortable and beautifully situated: this property has it all.We had a lovely week of exploring and were able to walk several treks without taking the car. when we did take the car, the options were maximised. We will return.
