It's in a very tight group of old and some lovely new houses. You can hear neighbors all the time, even washer and dryer on neighbors porch adjacent to bedroom. Difficult parking. Bottom of hillside so if concerned about fire or slides would not be good place to rent. Enjoyed front and backyard trees and convenient to downtown Laguna and Sawdust Festival.

My partner and I stayed at Valerie's cottage for three months and it truly felt like home. Situated in a small community about a half mile from downtown Laguna, the cottage has beautiful gardens both in the back and front yard which was a highlight of our stay. We were both comfortable working remotely from the cottage. Valerie was very responsive and gave us plenty of tips to explore Laguna. Thank you, Valerie! We hope to return in the future.

We have stayed in multiple locations in Laguna Beach. This cottage was tucked away in a quiet enclave walking distance to downtown. The Dutch doors on either end of cottage let the breeze blow through and the sweet garden was a favorite spot to read and have a drink. We loved it.

Welcoming, warm, the kind of place you don’t want to leave!

We stayed the month of January and had a fabulous time. The weather was incredible we loved our walks on the beach and everything Laguna has to offer. The dog friendliness of Laguna is so nice. It was everything we needed to recharge our batteries.

Stayed in the cottage for 6 weeks during the Festival of the Arts and had a wonderful time. The cottage is in a convenient area located next to the Sawdust & Art Festivals and just a short walk to the Pagent of the Masters site. It is also only a short walk to restaurants, downtown and to the beach. Had a parking spot close to the entrance door which made unloading luggage & groceries easy. The cottage has plenty of room for 2 people, maybe even three. There are plenty of windows and a skylight that allow natural sunlight and the breeze to come thru. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom stayed cool throughout the day & night. The bathroom is separate from the bedroom which made it convenient with company staying over. The couch was comfortable in the living room. On the sunnier days it would get a little warm in the living room in the afternoon but there are fans that help move the air around. The outside sitting area was very comfortable as it is shaded. Having a washer & dryer was great. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and Valerie was great to deal with....responsive, simple & easy. I would highly recommend this cottage.

The cottage is perfectly located, a few minutes from the Art Festivals, Laguna Downtown and Main Beach. It's extremely convenient to have 2 parking spots, specially when we rented the cottage during the peak season. We had an amazing time there doing bbq in the garden, kids loved playing at the playground a few houses down the private path. Very well equipped, decorated and located, I have rented it twice already. :)
