My husband, 16 month old son and I enjoyed our stay here. Our favorite part was how close the home is to the downtown area. The area is generally hilly, so be prepared for some ups and downs, but it's so close. We strapped my son into one of those back carriers and took as many as 3 trips from the home to downtown in one day. Would recommend.

After looking at all the hotels in Boothbay Harbor we decided instead on this cozy 1BR apartment above a carriage house just 6 minutes walk from the piers. We were very pleased with the rental, particularly the surprisingly large bathroom and nice shower. Though the kitchen is small it had everything we needed for a three night stay. The bed was comfortable and we were very glad to have the window A/C unit when temperatures rose into the 80s. WiFi speeds were acceptable at 110/10, and the smart TV had the streaming services we use. This is a nice place for a couples getaway.

We enjoyed having this spot as our home base for a few days of exploring the area. It was comfortable and more spacious than we anticipated and we loved the view from the living area down to the water. It was a quick walk into Boothbay Harbor where we enjoyed grabbing coffee in the morning and browsing all of the cute shops. Would definitely return!

I wanted to give this cute carriage house a better review, but the property manager was unresponsive. Several hours would pass before simple questions were answered. They apologized hour later and said heavy volume was the reason they didn’t respond. We arrived to an overflowing trash cans by the garage on Tuesday (I notified management) and when we checked out Thursday, the trash was further overflowed. This getaway was for my husband’s Bday and we had a nice time but I was disappointed to arrive without my questions answered, which made me unprepared. The location was great. The carriage house is cute. I liked the back deck and outdoor areas. Quick walk downtown. Quiet neighborhood. Better management is needed for this property.

It was private and far from tourists, but a short walk to the harbor and amenities!

Good location close to downtown. Updated facilities. Only complaint: the tv network provided lacked most mainstream programing.

We had a great stay at the apartment. Very convenient to downtown - just a steep hill on the way home. Clean, great amenities, quiet. Overall, we’d happily stay here again and recommend to others.

We stayed in the apartment over the garage. The unit was very clean. It is separate from the house. Each renter also has separate outdoor space. There are a lot of small touches such as nightlights that were appreciated. Walk to town was easy. The hill on the way back a little steep. The only thing I would improve would be a new shower head which may improve the the water pressure. Thank you for sharing your home
