We loved the home, beds, pillows, pool, hot tub, outdoor seating, firepit, location and quiet neighborhood. Felt safe! Also loved the washer and dryer, they were fast and efficient.

If we stayed again I wouldn’t bother paying the extra $100 a day for the pool to be heated. It was still very cold for an extra $500. Other than that, the house was great for our family. We would stay again, for sure.

Very clean and well appointed. Property management co. was very responsive to a couple of needs that came up. Would repeat.

The backyard makes you never want to leave!

The pictures for this home do not do it justice. The yard is unbelievably bigger then it looks and has way more sitting areas then we thought. The fire pit was awesome for cool mornings and evenings we were there. The pool was great. The house itself was very accommodating. The beds were very clean and comfortable and so was the rest of the house. We had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend this place. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet as well.

This is such a stellar place to stay. It has charm that reflects the area perfectly. The pool and hot tub are great. The fire pit is awesome too. The pool table is a nice touch. Definitely recommend!

The property was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was a hiccup with the cleaning process and cleaners were still in the house 2 hours after our scheduled check in so we could not check in on time. It took until the next day to speak to someone local on the management team but they did offer apologies and an appropriate resolution to the situation. We would happily work with Vacasa/stay at this property again.

The location was perfect (five minute drive to town/beach) and the pool & hot tub were so amazing and a wonderful refuge to return to each day. The pool table and comfortable living space was perfect for our family with two teenagers. The only drawback was the kitchen. It’s in need of some tlc. It worked fine for us since we didn’t spend a ton of time there, but the smaller top oven on the stove didn’t work, the garbage disposal was broken and the freezer melted out on the floor some nights. There seemed to be enough dining ware and pots and pans, but there is no necessity items unless they were left behind from a past renter. Some tlc in the kitchen would make a huge difference. Be prepared for vague communication with the rental agency, Vacasa. I contacted them about the disposal and asked when we needed to put trash out, and we received the standard “we’re sorry for the inconvenience” email with no answers or direction, I’m glad we didn’t have any big issues! It would be helpful if there was a welcome letter upon arrival with all the info you need..trash days, where are the pool lights and hot tub switch, internet password etc, the pool cleaner and landscapers schedule…all things you can certainly figure out on your own, but little details can make a big difference on an otherwise amazing VRBO rental!

Outdoor area, pool and spa were amazing. Pool temp was great, without having to heat. Fire pit was a perfect way to end the night. House was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked with utensils, pans, dishes, etc. We ate in a lot to be able to enjoy backyard. 14 yr old & 5 yr old spent hours in the pool/spa. Quick access to Carlsbad Village & Beach. Highly recommend.

The house is great, but THAT BACKYARD!! We were out on the patio, in the pool or at the fire pit the entire time we were not out exploring San Diego. The only complaint I have is that the landscaping/ gardeners came early one morning and ran their chainsaw at 8am til late morning. That wasn't an ideal morning for people on vacation. I would definitely stay at this property again tho!

Great house. You feel like your on your own Isle :) Inside there is a great layout with lots of sitting areas plus a pool table. Outside has so many things to offer. There is the pool, hot tub, fire pit, many places to lounge or hang, and a large dining table under the string lights.

The pictures do not do this home justice! Very nice and upgrades throughout the home. Great location, five minutes to beach and downtown Carlsbad. One note is that all bedrooms are on the second floor which may be a barrier for some. Overall great place for families, couples or friend groups looking for a resort style stay.

Booked this property blindly with zero reviews, but it ended up being a great choice. Home was as pictured/described and was quite roomy. We were only 4 Adults in this large home, and I feel it could accommodate more with no issues. Pool/Hot Tub was a great to have. Parking Garage was also a plus for keeping our vehicle inside. Would book this home again in a heatbeat.

My friends and I had an absolute blast in this house! So many hang out spots whether jumping in the pool/ hot tub, sitting around the fire, to eating breakfast outside. Great location just a short drive to the ocean or stores.

We had such a wonderful stay at this well maintained and BEAUTIFUL property. Minutes from the beach, grocery, fun activities. The backyard exceeded our expectations and was comfortable, gorgeous and inviting. We stayed most of the time outdoors. Loved having a pool table in the house which added to the fun! The kitchen was nicely appointed. Our best experience to date with a rental house and we are already planning our next stay, but for much longer so we can enjoy being in Carlsbad and at this wonderful property. 5 stars in our book!!

This was a perfect place for us to unwind and relax with family and friends. You get lots of real privacy and many areas to sit and talk, read, eat, or play board games. And the pool and its connected spa is great! We were very comfortable in the air conditioned house but it was the pool deck, the barbecue, patio, and fire pit areas that saw the most use. Can a suburban house really be called a resort? This one can.

Amazing backyard, your own private resort! Lots of family time enjoyed in the pool and spa. Great memories sharing family meals and game nights in outdoor dining and seating spaces. Conveniently located to Carlsbad Village, we rented a golf cart which was fun! Quick car ride to Encinitas. Very spacious home, great kitchen for cooking and family gathering and comfy beds after long days and nights at the beach!!

My family enjoyed our stay - home was very clean in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Grocery was in close proximity and short drives from attractions like Legoland and the Zoo. The backyard is a beautiful oasis with plenty of seating and an awesome spa and pool. My kids enjoyed swimming every day and can't wait to come back. We marked this home as a favorite and we can't wait to come back.

The house had a cozy Spanish design with all the amenities we needed. For a family of 5, we loved that we had a pool/spa and were only minutes from the Beach and Legoland. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. The pool light and spa light did not appear to be functional, otherwise the house was well kept up and had everything we needed for a week stay. Overall, we loved our stay.
