The bed was comfortable, location as expected, free parking

Unfortunately, the stay started to become unpleasant before even arriving. The amount of extra paperwork needed and amount of constant automated messages from the property were highly annoying and not really what I would expect when booking through booking.com Once we arrived there were only 3 beds prepared, we are a family of 4 and the property knew about this. This means we didn't have enough bedding for all of us and our children had to share. We told the property about this and were promised it'd be rectified the next day. It was not rectified. Since there was only 3 beds prepared we had to push them all together and when moving furniture it became massively apparent that the property could have done with a proper clean. There were toy cars and dummies from previous guests still underneath the bed, not to mention the amount of dust. Given that we had to pay a quite substantial deposit we had to then report every single thing that was wrong with the property and it felt like I was busier making sure I didn't pay for someone else breaking something than actually enjoying my holiday. It also highlighted how much the property was in need of a clean and repairs. Some things were clearly just bought new and still had price tags on them while other things could have done with a lot of tlc and repair (like the flooring behind/underneath the sofa) Our kids then accidentally damaged the TV and we were told that the property did not have insurance and therefore our deposit was kept to buy a new TV and we had to pay an extra fee for the 'labour cost'. Overall, it was acceptable to stay in for a few nights but given the cost, the constant messages, paperwork and on top of it the lack of cleanliness.. we won't be back.

Nothing when you are meet by said owner, asking you the next time you book to not go through booking.com this is wrong.

.I do not like to be ripped off. Avoid this place like a plage. Even when I asked booking.com for help I was still let down, l use booking.com a lot this has been my worst experience in over 3 years.
