Lovely hotel at beautiful location opposite the caves. Fading old glory, but with a lot of character and it is really very clean. Host is as friendly and helpful as can be. Decorated with beautiful landscape photographs.

The location is amazing, just a walking distance to the cave monastery. The owners were friendly and easy going. We like the garden and outdoor space they have around the property.

The hotel is quite old now. The price of the room is quite high for the quality of the room and facility available.

The owners were extremely welcoming, polite, friendly and just so lovely we felt like we were at home. The breakfast and view from the top floor is incredible - stunning view of the Vardzia caves, the river below which was so peaceful and quiet. The hotel location is perfect as it is so close to the caves, Vardzia restaurant and also close to the sulphur baths/geyser down the left of the street. Even with the slight discomfort it was one of our favourite places in our Georgia trip because they were so friendly and because of the amazing location and breakfast.

The bathroom didn't close or lock, and there was no fan. The wet room shower head doesn't work properly so it was very weak, but eventually did get warm. There was no window in the bedroom for fresh air so the corridor window was open all night for some ventilation. This would be fine but there were some loud other guests playing the didgeridoo at 11pm, then someone on a very loud phone call in the corridor, so it was broken sleep. The beds were uneven and uncomfortable, the pillows were hard and filled with what felt like hard feathers or sofa stuffing so we really didn't sleep well at all and had sore necks.

The location is absolutely incredible! Literally just across from the Vardzia cave system, you can see it out of the common room windows. A minute walk from where the minibus stops. Fireplace in common room was always lit. Breakfast was delicious. Bus timetables on the wall. Lovely host, very kind.

Rooms could be a little cold, but there was a heater, so this was of little concern.

This place was nice, location is perfect with great view. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great location only 200 metres to the Vardzia entrance. Room was very basic, but comfortable.

Lots of noise and echoes through the rooms and building.
