I loved the location. The views were breathtaking. I'll never forget the sunsets into the Ionian. Stunning. I liked it was a traditional Greek home and not a super modern box with no soul or identity that you can find in any global popular tourist spot. This home feels like you're immersed in Greek life. I loved it. There were so many outside areas to sit and appreciate the views or just socialise and eat. The house was so well equipped. Everything you need from beach towels to BBQ fish grill thingy! The host was really easy to communicate with through Booking.com messages. Previous comments about WiFi surprise me. In the house and on the veranda we had good coverage and could both stream at the same time without issue. The lady in the local shop and cafe was lovely and super helpful.

Very nice location and place, you have everything you need to enjoy a long staying. The host was a very nice lady which met us with cold water, a lot of ice and fresh fruits.

Bad wifi connection and on our last day we didn’t had water and electricity for an hour, but we’ve managed to deal this with smile and patience.

Large house, enough to accommodate 6 people. It looks exactly like in the pictures, located in a quiet area, close to some beautiful rocky beaches on the west side of the island. Thanks to the host for kindness and advice. P.S. Taking a shower in the yard makes all the money.

We had a great time in Maríes. We were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Olga. House is very well equiped and you will find here everything you need. Nice yard with outdoor seating, best sunsets from the rooftop. Nice clean rooms with comfortable beds. Beautiful location in quiet village. Parking in front of the house.

Wifi didn't work because the router may have been broken, but it doesn't matter, at least we took a break from the internet.

We had an amazing time at Leandros house. It was even better than expected. The house has got everything you need, it feels like home and we had a very relaxing time. The best is the outdoor area, and the stunning sunsets over the sea from the roof top. There's also an area with comfortable sunbeds ( I don't think is shown in the pictures ) and a lovely outdoor shower. Best thing is that is away from other houses so you really have privacy. Bear in mind that the town of Maries is in a very quiet area ( which we loved) but if you are looking for parties, bars etc it's not for you. Only a couple of restaurants and a minimarket in the area.

Imagine: a house on a paradise island, a place of calm and relaxation, on the edge of the old mountain village Maries, both remote and next to the spectacular beaches on the west coast (e.g. Shipwreck Beach), surrounded by some thousand years old olive trees, birds and peaceful nature. Imagine: you wake up, prepare greek coffee and cheese toast for enjoying your mediterrean breakfast on the roof top with a view above green hills down to the Ionian Sea. Can't believe? But it's true! In addition you get to know the open-hearted owner Olga, who will warmly welcome you. She knows everything about the island. She speaks greek, english, german and helps you, whenever you need it.
