No early check-in. No late checkouts. They overcharged us $365. The communication was poor. The hotel is okay. He cleanliness is averaged poor. Unless you're on a budget. Do not stay here.

It was a random night out to Halifax and we decided to stay here and it was a beautiful hotel and great for attractions

I've stayed in numerous hotels in the area and consider this one to be among the best value. This hotel was less than half the price of where I stayed my previous visit and while not as modern, it was certainly better than expected for the price point. The room doors should probably be replaced with something more efficient at blocking out hallway noise though. On my last night a group were having a party in the room down the hall but always people coming and going talking loudly in the hall which disturbed my evening.

Most everything was fantastic. Just couple things that bothered me was that I could hear everything going on in the halls and I didn’t enjoy the eggs at breakfast.

We stayed here for an early 50th wedding Anniversary, had tickets for a comic at the Lighthouse centre, supper at Moxies, perfect place to spend the night, walkable. Spacious room, great breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Also we were very happy to be able to check in 2 hrs early.

It was a weekend, people on my floor were out till about 2. I knew this because I had to wake at 2, so I was up most of the night. Not the hotels issue, but unique, not so quiet

Disappointed that there were no protein options for breakfast other than eggs. Was very happy there was a snack store available 24/7. Signage to find the hot tub area was not prominent. Requests to front desk seemed quite slow as it took 30 minutes then a second call to the desk to have the doors unlocked between the rooms that we requested during check in.

Hotel staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a nice variety however if you're a meat lover, you have to pay for meat :-( I did notice that the furniture in the room and dinning area could use a good cleaning... the fabric was visibly dirty on seating. Easy access to pubs and a few quick meal restaurants. Great area for exercising and a bit of sightseeing.

Enjoyed my stay! Rooms are tired but were clean and spacious. Breakfast was great. The only negative thing was you could hear people in the hall clear as day! We even heard people in their rooms from inside your own room .

Fabulous location downtown. We close to so much that needs to be seen in Halifax. Room and bed were comfy. Breakfast is the bomb! Tater tots for the win! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

The hotel was great. Central location for what we wanted to do in halifax . Loved the fact that the room had separate areas for relaxing and sleeping. Parking was very convenient. Giod recommendation for a restaurant our first night

Great location! Easy to get around downtown with access to lots of shopping and restaurants. Waterfront is a short walk away. Hotel was busy but clean and the breakfast was good. The hot tub was too hot to use (105!) but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel is well situated and affordable, but affordable should not be interpreted as cheap and old. The free, included breakfast is a nice to have, but any sausage or bacon is extra $. Clean gym and hot tub. The sofa bed in our room was weathered. It's fine on all levels.

Superior customer service reps on site! Gave us some great recommendations for more local, than touristy restaurants. And all staff always had a smile on their face.
The only negative we’ve had was how much noise we got from the adjacent room. I don’t know if it was because of the adjoining room door, but the first night my wife had lots of trouble sleeping due to all then noise next door. We were in 201 and we could hear everything in the adjacent room.
