My wife and I only stayed for one night. The girl on reception was very welcoming and extremely helpful. The room was furnished and decorated to a high standard and the oversized king size bed supremely comfortable. We dined in Toddys restaurant as we had been travelling all day. The waiter (Colm) was attentive and very friendly. Food ample and well cooked and presented. Breakfast this morning brilliant, loads of choices and again properly cooked and service first class. Best hotel breakfast ever
Would recommend this hotel even to people I don't like. A great experience.

Hotel is so convenient and central. I love the warmth and the hospitality from some very hard working staff. Nothing is too much trouble. My room was very comfortable and quiet. Check in/out was quick and efficient - with a smile!

From entering the hotel, there was a welcoming atmosphere. Reception staff were friendly and efficient. Staff will approach and ask if assistance is needed.
My room, on the fifth floor, was well-appointed and very clean and comfortable. Tea/coffee-making facility was available in room, as was ironing board.
The breakfast selection was very good; again, staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is centrally located for shopping and dining; great for walking or there is public transport outside the hotel door.
I would highly recommend a stay in Riu Plaza, the Gresham.

Fabulous! Friendly helpful check-in staff. Room was available from 9am - we only arrived to ask to store our luggage until check-in but we were able to have room access straight away. Fantastic facilities, lovely room with a super comfy bed and excellent bathroom. Breakfast plentiful & delicious. We will return, thank you!

Nice room, nice bed, good breakfast (although very busy around the weekend) and bad sleep. When people walk or talk in the corridor, it sounds like they are in your room and wake you up. When it's dark, you can see light coming in all around the door. It's a pity for an otherwise very good hotel.

This is an excellent choice for a long weekend. Highlights were the staff, all of whom were exceptional, breakfast service, everything was delicious standard of the hotel and location. The airport bus drops you at the front door. Could do better on the floor cleaning in the rooms, our bathroom drain was a bit smelly and the towels, although very white and clean, covered us in fluff and didn’t dry you properly! (Suspect new towels that hadn’t had the essential first wash!) wouldn’t stop me from returning. This hotel offers excellent value for money.

Helpful and friendly staff, but the property itself is lacking. Very small rooms with small beds and only 1 pillow per person provided, was rather stingy for the price.

I booked this hotel for its location since it’s the tour bus pickup location. I’m glad I did. Not only the tour bus but the airport coach drop off at the hotel as well. Besides a couple of nice bars and restaurants are within a couple of minutes walk. The hotel is newly renovated, the staff are friendly. Although it looks new and clean, due to its old construction, the guess room can be tricky to find and needs walk extra stairs if you happen to have a room located near the corner. Besides the bathroom exhaust fan switch is above the bathroom door, so you need to climb up one chair to be able to reach it. Minor issues but needs attentions to make the hotel perfect.

Nice, clean hotel with a comfortable lobby. Hallways and rooms had a strange plastc flooring instead of tile/carpet which looked cheap and transmitted noise. Breakfast was good but a feeding frenzy until the tour groups finished and left.

Such a great experience. I stayed here on my first trip to Dublin in 2006 and remembered the Gresham as being genteel and grand and fabulous. It didn’t disappoint the second time. The condition of the room & common areas was fabulous & the staff is out of this world.

I did not appreciate the construction that was happening right outside our room door. This made it incredibly hard to sleep during the day to try to overcome the jetlag. I also found the constant noise from the people on the sidewalk below was not acceptable and happened all day and well into the night.
