I would not recommend this place at all.We arrived there and got the first room and had to move because heating wasn't working, then the second room the shower didn't work. So we left and found a new place..This was after a 7 hr road trip to be with my daughter in the hospital, so I didn't need the added stress..

The general layout of the room was cute but everything was gross. We were on the first floor. Before we even walked into the room we noticed the window was cracked and borded up with ply wood. When we walked in, the room smelled. When I booked the room, the pictures showed a working fireplace... it was borded up and not functional.
The stove had food caked on the burners, the couch was stained with God knows what, the floor had some nasty blood stain or something embedded into the carpet, most of the blinds in the window were missing. The vents were full of dust and rusty, the baseboards looked like they haven't been cleaned since the place opened up.
The bed was so hard and the pillows were so thin. There was no getting comfortable.
I would not recommend this to anyone.

This is my second time staying there and probably my last. The room condition was horrible. Very run down and in bsd shape. The kitchen was missing glasses and utensil. The couch was ripped and nasty looking. The kitchen is run down. The bathroom fauis loose. Breakfast is a joke. This place is ok for a cheap quick stay if your not too picky about cleanliness.

The room reeked of cigarette smoke, mold in the bathroom, burn holes in the carpets and countertops. Did not feel safe the whole night and couldn’t wait to get out. Extreme bait and switch.

Rooms could be tidier. One of the towel looks used. Bed didn't smell good good or bad but it wasn't pleasant. Shower took too long to warm up water. Receptionists could be friendlier. Saying "good morning" won't hurt them. Explaining one card is for gate and the other for the room door would be helpful. "Free breakfast" without scrambled eggs is not breakfast at all. Orange juice and coffee was delicious and plentiful though. In all, property looks well maintained and if room smelled more fresh I would give it 4 stars. Kudos to the maintenance guy, he gave me the only smile I got in two days

So it is clear we didn't actually stay at the hotel. We traveled to the area for a soccer game. At the game we were talking to a parent who's child plays for the team we were watching. She reported that the team went to this hotel and found it in unsafe, unclean conditions. Doors that didn't lock, horrible odor in the rooms, toilets that required instructions on how flush because they were broken. The team ended up moving to a new hotel. We decided that was enough for us not to bother. We ate the cost and booked elsewhere.

Upon entering room, there was a stale odor. Run was clean but not clean. Stains on floor and couch. You could see outside under the entrance door where the seal was missing. There was a noticeable water leak on tge ceiling by the patio door. The towel bar near the bathroom sink was falling off the wall. It was all doable but needs a little lovin'.

When we arrived, they sent us to a room that was still being fixed. They were workers in it so we had to go back and get another one. I burned my hand when I turned the water on. The water is illegally hot. It was scalding. The shower had no cold at all, only too hot to scalding.

We checked out after 30 minutes. Lady behind the desk was nice and apologetic but the place itself was really bad. It’s nothing like the pictures, stains everywhere in the room, stinks of smoke and weed, very dated and unsafe vibe about it. The place felt incredibly unsafe with only a flimsy lock to close the door. We wouldn’t have slept a wink that night so paid to go elsewhere at the last minute and checked out. Pictures of the place need updating. I’d say read the other recent reviews on here before you commit.

It was dirty its nothing like the pictures that they have about the property there was spit in front of the door the rug in side was very dirty very bad all we did was sleep that night and we left the next day early in the morning.

It was okay for a one night but I wouldn't stay there for several days. Bed was fine but carpet and couch could use some updating.

Excellent! Best kept secret in New Haven. My room was spacious. Lobby was beautiful and had coffee and breakfast. I would stay again, but you must have a car.

We arrived after dark and it was difficult to find our unit. Unit numbers should be posted so as to be seen clearly as you face the building.

I loved that it had two floor’s. Ron can use an update and a really good cleaning. Room was super dusty and the next morning I heard the boys crying from upstairs saying there was ants all over the room. Which there was.

I wanted to love but can’t. The room setup was intriguing. The room had master bedroom and a second-floor loft, two full bathrooms, and a full kitchen. All the things we were looking for. That said, the condition of room 522 was very disappointing. The furnishings are extremely dated. I felt I was reliving the 70s. When entering the room, we were hit with the overwhelming smell of smoke, and the floor had burned marks to confirm. As non-smokers. 😖 Unfortunately, that's not where it ended. The windows that had sheers were discolored as well. There were holes in the walls leading upstairs. The bathrooms were dingy and rusty, and the kitchen had no complete set of utensils. We bought place settings. If we had more time in NH, we would have gone to another hotel, but this was a quick two-day turnaround trip and we agreed to stick it out. I could never in food conscience recommend the Villages. Not happy travelers.

The pictures that they have on the website, Weren’t even anywhere remotely close to what my room resembled. They are just trying to scam you to stay there appearing to have nice rooms. The smell was so bad in my room like someone died. Everything was from 1970, not one thing was ever remodeled.

The lobby was filthy. Had food all over the floors and trash. The room lights didn’t work. The room smelled like someone smoked a carton of cigarettes in it. I would NEVER stay in a place like this espe ially with my child. I didnt feel safe and ledt ASAP!!!!!

Stay was fine. On hotels.com it says a 300 security deposit would be charged at time of check in. Upon arrival I was told it was 400 with a list of stipulations. Quite annoying.

The shower want working properly- we had carpenter ants in our room. The faucet wasn’t even attached to the sink so it would move when you turned it on or off and the refrigerator was leaking and we had a puddle on the kitchen floor

The property was poorly cleaned before we arrived but they did work woth us to extend our stay an extra night. The breakfast,which is the kids favorite part of staying at hotels, was terrible.

The overall appearance of the property was nice, but misleading. The rooms need to be updated -- old and worn carpet, and outdated appliances. The oven needed to be cleaned. The refrigerator was clean, but it is so old, and it made a lot of noise when the motor kicked on. Everything looked like it had been there forever. The Egyptian sheets were nice and the bed was comfortable. Also, the sign for the property should be at the beginning of the street not at the end. The amount of the required deposit is high. The location is convenient though.

Carpet, bathroom, floor, in general everything was filthy. The smell inside the room was unbearable. I wanted to leave but I would lose my $ 2 night stay We didn't sleep at night, there was chaos in the other rooms until 3 in the morning. It was a nightmare.

Nice to have a full kitchen etc. But most of the tv channels did not work, the breafast was french toast and hard boiled eggs? Apparently it is pet friendly. My room smelled of animals! Carpets worn and dirty.

Extremely disappointed on the conditions of the ENTIRE property. I stayed 2 days July 13 & 14 2024
*The carpet in the bedroom have stains everywhere looks like has not been washed/clean in years, the light fixture in the bathroom was not working and water was dripping from it, the drain in the bathtub not working so when I took a shower the water was past my ankles, the Front Desk /lobby has No Air Condition was like 100 degrees for the free breakfast was boiling eggs some toast, yogurt and pre made cold pancakes, also the coffee machine was not working.
So SAD to see what used to be a wonderful place turned into a dump.
The pictures they list on their Website they are maybe 20 years old. Please don’t be fooled
This place needs to be remove from any Booking website.
I will not even give them 2 stars.
