The hotel is nice at a good rate. We were told on arrival that the boiler was out, and that if we had problems they would compensate us. We had two room. Both rooms did not have hot water the next morning. While it was not cold cold, it definitely was not a warm shower. We were not compensated. We did call IHG, but have not heard back from them. The other thing was our invoice left under our door was $20 less than what our credit card charges were.

Quick stay. Room was sufficient for our needs and within walking distance of lots of local food options.

Odd, circular designed building from the 60's or so. Rooms were odd shape and pretty small, although well appointed and clean. Fittings were old fashioned, but functional.
Breakfast was wholesome and plentiful.
Location was very good, close to the Lady Bird Lake hiking and running trails. Just a couple of miles from the Capitol Building too.

Room was clean and comfortable. The free parking and easy walk to some good spots was a big bonus.
Unfortunately the thing that lets it down was the noise, not only from the highway, but also from the corridor, we were near the lifts so got woken up at 1am with people coming up.

Outside lighting is poor. Not very visible from the road. Clean room. However, the room was outdated. Rusty bathtub and poor lighting in bathroom. Towels were old.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Easy check- in and out.

It’s very clean and safe, nice location for us, close to the University where our granddaughter attend, the only thing is close to the Highway and it’s a bit noisy from time to time, it bothered my husband but it did not bother me at all.

Rooms leave much to be desired for but the location is fantastic. Normally there are electric scooters parked right out front of the hotel, amazing taco truck and gas station 50 feet from entrance. It's about a 1 min scooter ride to bars and night life, 5 min to 6th street. 15 min from the airport. Prime spot.

Check in was late because the rooms were not ready. The room was not clean all the way. The toilet was broke when we first checked in. They came up and fixed it but didn’t clean behind themselves or remove the part of the toilet they replaced.

Not bad, great location. Not the nicest hotel, would be better if the rooms had central air and better options for the televisions (upgraded ones). It was clean and worked for my short trip.

I feel the hotel needs a deeper updating throughout the halls and common areas instead of just the rooms not that they haven't in the past but it is showing it's age etc The mechanics of the room and hotel are older and quite noisy everywhere. . Could hear people in the next room easily one man had a mental breakdown on my floor had to be removed after he became violent and hurt himself. But the staff was nice and handled things well and the visit was pleasant.

Parking is no issue,the room had a wonderful view and a/c was running at a solid 68 when I arrived,with this Texas heat it felt amazing when I walked in the room.

Was not disappointed,hotel has a trail right behind it with great access if you paddle boat or bike canoe.

So first I reserved a lake view room on the 8th floor- more like look to the left and you’ll see part of the lake view. And I asked them if they had other rooms and they said that was their lake view..whatever. The location was indeed close to the places I wanted to check out within 10 mins of each other. The room was pretty basic, and outdated. Bathroom tub drainage was a bit plugged. The bars for the towels were rusted and the tv was extremely small. The refrigerator barely kept our drinks and food cold and microwave took forever to heat food. The only good thing in the room was the bed it was definitely comfy and the pillows were nice.
They do not have complimentary breakfast.

Pros: We saw the most beautiful sunsets from our lake view room! Helpful and friendly staff. Even though the hotel was busy, noise from other guests was never an issue in our room.
Cons: Noisy a/c in room and a very slow bathtub drain. Vending machine on our floor was not working.
Ultimately, would stay here again.

Very nice stay. Hotel is in walking distance to Rainey street. Room was clean with a nice view. Bed was comfortable. Shower was very good. Paid for the breakfast and it was very good. Would stay again.
