Only issue with our stay was although there was a hair dryer supplied in the bathroom there was no plug in to use and no other mirrors in the room although there were plenty of plugins that could have been used. It is hard to use hair styling equipment without a mirror and plugin near to each other.

The hotel was clean and quiet and in a good location.
It is however in need of renovation! The room was very small. The bed was sloppy, and sagging in the middle. The bathroom did not have a receptical to use a blowdryer and there was no mirror outside the bathroom to be able to do so in the hall.
I would not stay again.

Room very dated, dark and noisy. No access to outdoors to let in air or look outside to see weather. Not a room you want to spend much time in, which would be okay if not so expensive.

Check in took a while because of other guests credit card problems and there was only one receptionist. The room was clean. Hallways and entrance doors were a bit scuffed and could use renovations. Drug addicts hanging out in the rear parking lot.

Our room was as far from the front desk as possible & we had to get our room key reset 6-8 times in less than 48hrs. It was pretty ridiculous. And yes, we didn’t put the keys near any magnets & yes, we did have to explain that every time

Difficult to find the front entrance of the hotel, to begin with. Had problems getting into our room; room key did not work after 3 trips to the front desk; they finally put us in a different room. Only 1 elevator in the entire hotel that I could find. NO electrical outlets in the bathroom - is this a BC building code thing? Adequate hotel, but I'm not overly impressed, since it's a 3* hotel.

Property is rundown, but it's clean. Staff is wonderful which makes up for a lot. But a 5-night stay was too long on the saggy bed. Attached to the hotel is a Denny's & Bar One restaurants. This hotel allows pets, so expect a dog smell & barking during the day.

The hotel needs a little maintenance, from the entrance to the hotel to hallway and door into the room, they all needed some pain, update. This hotel looks like it has not changed for the pass 10 years . Little pricey for this hotel and the area but only 10 mins walk to the beach.

This hotel is an ok place to stay. The rooms were clean, but they were not updated at all. The pool was nice, however the water was freezing and the air in the pool room was way to hot. The staff was very friendly and polite and the location was great!

This property was a little dated, but overall served our purposes.
Initially our first room smelled quite gross- stinky feet meets moldy towel.
Thankfully though, the staff were able to get us a different room. The room we ended up with smelled vastly better, but it could have been cleaner, there were smudged hand prints on the bathroom door and hair in the shower.
We recommend avoiding the bar in the hotel, it was horrible.

Walls were ripped bed had crumbs all over it and stains on one of the beds sheets. Bathroom had no soap (thank god we brought our own) and overall just a dirty place.

Although the staff was friendly, the cleanliness of the room was not up to standard. I found hair in the bathroom sink and on the toilet seat rim, bread crumb under the microwave, dripping on the fridge door.. the hallways were smelly and there was rarely functioning air conditioning

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at!! I wish I could post pictures on here!! Dried urine on toilet seat! Dirty stained pillow! Phone in room had cord ripped out totally unusable! The ottoman is ripped and tattered fake leather that could cut you. Bathroom sink won’t drain!! Absolutely embarrassment and really how much Sandman appreciates their guest!! When I brought up all these issue the staff on offered a $10 Denny’s voucher insulting joke!!

Did not have an outlet plug in the bathroom… pretty hard for 2 girls live with. The only mirror is in the bathroom as well so hard to do your hair with a curling iron.
