Great hotel with fun additions like bowling, arcade and mini putt. Wonderful pool and super gym. Every single employee I passed or talked to was friendly/super helpful. I wished my upgraded room had a tub, the temperature was a bit wonky (but I managed) and there needs to be something that depresses the doors from slamming but other than those minor things this definitely the choice in Kitchener.

Hotel was ok. Friendly staff. Game room was a disappointment. Most games broken and couldn’t figure out the bowling or mini golf. No signage telling us how to work them. Pictures definitely deceiving. Paid for breakfast but didn’t start serving until 7:30am so couldn’t wait around for it. Very loud streets downtown and we could hear everything. Kept us up most of the night. Likely wouldn’t stay again.

Terrible, terrible experience. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels and NEVER had an experience like this. Pros: beautiful hotel
Cons: Outweigh the Pros. I went to be there with my 13 year old , who’s been having a rough time lately and we were excited by the amenities. Pool was freezing, skylight in room with pool broken which allowed for cold air to come through along with rain on me while sitting there. The bowling didn’t work well, one of the lanes competely didn’t work. No internet in rooms and when I inquired I was given a number to call an IT technician who couldn’t help. I was on the phone with technician for 45 minutes, which I could have spent better with my son. Was locked out of room where our things were still inside, apparently there was a system problem which occurred to others as well. It was one thing after another with not much concern about such a poor stay. Frankly, I feel like I shouldn’t have to pay.

nice place and staff great. Could leave our luggage while we were gone. Ended up in Waterloo longer than expected and guests went back to hotel and sat in comfy chairs and staff didnt ask them to leave.

The toilet in our bathroom continually plugged up where we could not flush it. We called the front desk several times to fix it. After each fix it would clog again. The hotel said they would move is and never did. Needed to use the bathroom at the lobby or in friends rooms. The inconvenience was unreal

It was an affordable and enjoyable stay. Front desk reception was what youd expect. Friendly, informed and professional. The gym was more than adequate as well. They had a great pool. Our king bedroom was spacious and very clean. The mattress was very comfortable, duvet was clean and kept hold. Housekeeping was quiet and friendly.

Totally not happy with the room. Old, outdated room and building. All monies spent on the outisde and lobby. Area is shady and a lot of homeless people in the area making feel unsafe.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The room was outdated with no smart TV, and the furniture and bed were old and uncomfortable. The room also had a noticeable smell, and the cleaning products used were not effective. Overall, the experience was not worth the charge.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! The restaurant had great service and fresh food at the breakfast buffet. The pool and area was clean and the water was nice to swim in. The hotel has lots of little entertainment options with kid sized bowling lanes, minigolf, arcade, and table tennis. My two kids and I enjoyed some of the onsite amenities during our single night stay.

The hotel was great. The restaurant was excellent. The only hotel I've stayed in a long time with comfortable pillows. The only complaint i would have is the parking is so far away.

The Crowne Plaza was a very comfortable stay. The only reason why I rated 4 stars overall was that the bed was way too soft for my liking. Thats just a personal preference. That being said,, staff were lovely, rooms were clean and the on-site restaurant had tasty food and excellent service. The only downside of the restaurant is that the portions are huge so one could definitely share to cut down costs, especially children. The breakfast was probably the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. So many options, friendly and helpful wait staff. Made to order omlet station is fantastic. The pool is wonderful. I would stay again.

I feel I am owed one nights stay back . I had no phone in the room for about 24 hours and I do not own a cell phone . My wife was in surgery at St. Mary’s Hospital and I was to be available to help with a decision if needed . The hotel worked to fix the issue and thought it was fixed many times but it wasn’t . I asked for a one night refund and was told that because I booked through you that you owe it to me . Also people should know that if you don’t book directly with the hospital you do not get the medical discount and any issues with the hotel must be corrected thru the site you use . Even a hotel like the Crowne Plaza will not help with any refunds . This is crap , Dave the husband of Mary Ellen .

Not terrible but nothing to brag about. Decent place to stay. Pool’s nice.

Even though there was a baseball tournament in town and all the children were running around the hotel lobby when we checked in, they put us in a room away from the young baseball players into a nice quiet area of the hotel.
Staff was very accomodating, very efficient, all around excellent!

The location of the property isnt the best, especially the parking area. But overall its a great facility with amazing staff. Michelle at the front deska nd Carol and Niraj were great hosts at the restaurant.
