Hotel requires modernising. The room i was given was supposed to have a king siz bed. This was made up of 2 x single beds pushed together, with one slightly higher than then other, and you could feel the join. I may as well hae booked a single bed. The lamp didnt work so i was unable to work at the desk late on. The tv only had freeview channels and some if these did not work. The channels that did work had poor signal and kept going off. The toilet flush had to be manually brought back up and there was a dripping noise in the corner of the room. The evening special was a mexican buffet, which was not fit for eating. Many customers complained about the quality. Breakfast time, i had to pick through bowls as they has dried food on them. The milk provided for cereal was warm. Horrendous stay, and would not recommend.

Having stayed here before, was disappointed to have to pay £15 this time for parking even as a hotel guest.
Was disturbed at 6am by the noise of air-conditioning above swimming pool..not able to get back to sleep. Despite soundproof on details.
Unfortunately will be choosing elsewhere next time.

We were not thrilled to learn of the unnecessary parking charge expected of guests for leaving a vehicle overnight. Anyone else, yes, but not paying guests.
A member of bar staff was extremely slow and made the worse tasting hot chocolate but i was already in my room before realising how horrible it was.
Reception staff were lovely and polite and very accommodating for my excessive tea drinking. The noise from roof fans outside our window was loud.
There weren't any spare pillows in the room just duvets.
The parking charge is seriously making us reconsider returning for our annual trip to this hotel.

Hotel is very big with lots of parking and some great service.
In our room the air con wasn't working but the staff provided fans and complimentary drinks.
It would be great to have more electric car chargers on site as there were times cars were occupying the 1 terminal.

Well received on arrival for a 3 night stay. The staff were very helpful (Lily in particular).
The room was not of a great standard - toilet flush system was not working properly and the a/c was faulty causing the temperature to be uncomfortably hot.

We had a good time. The staff were attentive and helpful. The rooms were clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Overall it was a very good experience apart from the fact that we had to pay for parking in the hotel carpark.

Hotel good and room ok. Staff friendly and welcoming. Took exception to £15 per night parking. Yes the Hotels.com website said parking available but only learnt it was £15 per night from email day before arrival.
Most hotels round the country I stay in don’t charge but never encountered such a high charge. Basically a hidden extra on the room rate. I won’t be staying here again as there are other hotels around Peterborough I
could use.

I had to walk 15 minutes from the bus but the area is so beautiful and peaceful I didn't mind. Staff very polite and helpful. Rooms and public areas clean. In general I love this place and if I'll be again in Peterborough I will certainly book a room here again.

Hotel located at Thorpe Wood just off one of the main carriageways. Large car park however note hotel is used for weddings and corporate seminars events etc so can depending on arrival date be busy. As swimming pool, gym.

The staff truly make you feel welcome. The reception staff, housekeeping and restaurant personnel were all very pleasant and genuinely seemed interested to ensure our stay was memorable. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The shower pressure wasn’t the best but adequate. The buffet breakfast was excellent and requesting vegetarian sausages was no problem and supplied in no time. However I was not a fan of the overnight parking charge for residing guests. I was equally disappointed the steam room was not in use during our stay.

Paid over a month in advance for a nights stay, when we got there got an extra hit on £15 car park charge, which I think is disgraceful, will be putting a complaint in for my money back, I think it’s disgusting to get hit for a charge you had no idea you was getting.

We were in Peterborough for a birthday party and our stay at the holiday Inn was pleasant.

Really nice place but my room had twin beds when it should of been a king, that room someone hadn’t flushed the toilet which was a bit rank, the room we moved to had a king size bed but the bath was really dirty, the toilet roll holder was falling off and the room was near the generator or ac unit on the roof so was a humming noise. It’s a nice place and the service was great but these things means I can’t say it was a 10/10 stay, the dinner was expensive and pretty poor too tbh.

Great location. Very quiet and relaxing. The hotel was busy the weekend we booked as a wedding occurred, however it didn’t affect the stay and despite a busy than usual reception area it was still very quiet throughout and all the bookable options were still available.
Breakfast was nice, some items missing but restocked halfway though so we didn’t miss out. Very happy.

Fabulous, great vibes all round. Nice space, booked premium room and was perfect, quiet, near spa, overlooking car park and grass rather than road.
Dinner was great and breakfast not bad and all for £101 (plus £40 quick dinner for 3, child free)
Bed was at least a king size and comfortable, not too hard.
Bit warm ONLY complaint and once pulled duvet out of cover a bit had that sorted too.
Great hot water.
For the money was really exceptional value.

Despite a large function going on we had a nice meal in the restaurant. Bar drinks were very expensive (£25 for two doubles and mixers). Service was very good - room was comfortable. Shower wasn’t very powerful but was hot. Health club usage was a bonus with a decent pool and gym. Great value for money overall.

Very average place and a bit tired looking in places. Our bed offered very poor support. Sound proofing was dreadful. The food was a ridiculous price. Our £17 pizza wasn't even cooked properly but when we we asked if it was ok, it was replaced after a long wait by another one that was atleast hot, rather than luke warm. We were also given a free drink for the inconvenience which was appreciated. The sausages and bacon at breakfast were poorly cooked. The sausages were like leather as they had been standing for so long. The bacon was all undercooked. We stayed at a Days Inn the night before and the room was much bigger and more comfortable.
