Horrible and they charged me a 3k fine when there was no signs to not smoke. Horrible do not rwcommend and coding violations with a screw sticking out of a post at valet . Charhed me for a bight i didnt stay and did not refund me .

Great atmosphere and quite a vast amount of shops around. My only dislike was that it was so annoying to hear the footsteps of whoever was staying upstairs. Also every time a door would open and or close from the other roooms the noise would travel to my room making it quite tedious.

Beautiful historical building, good service, we had good time and enjoy diner in Mission Inn restaurant.

Only spent one night. The hotel is beautiful and a great location. Our room was very roomy and the beds super comfortable.

The hotel itself was amazing, took lots of pictures, the bed was comfortable and there were plenty of things to do right outside of the place however the only reason why I couldn’t give a full star review is because there was not enough front desk staff. I was waiting for the line at check in to clear for about 20 minutes and then front desk people were unable to answer my questions about self parking in the parking garage.
The whole thing was a long confusing mess that had me walking back of forth from the garage to the front desk a few times.
Generally they just need more front desk people.

Valet parking was Very nice and friendly and Attentive.
House keeping could’ve been better no clean towels were left for the second night.

It is an experience staying at this hotel. Great staff. Bathrooms could use some update. Really nice pool and gorgeous grounds, but charging a mandatory resort fee because they offer a gym, and a pool? Not really welcoming. No hot water offered in the room for tea. Only a "Keurig" type coffee machine.

4pm checkin, One reception clerk on duty. The line went down the stairs to bar/restaurant. At the 30 minute marker 3 additional clerks arrived.

Cockroach in bathroom. No water bottles or robe. I had stayed in a different room the previous night and it was far superior.

Grounds are beautiful and well landscaped. The room was out dated, bathroom faucet was loose and about to fall off. Drapes had no sheers in the bedroom so when you opened the drapes you were in full view of the street below, no privacy. The windows are all single pane so you could hear all the parties at 3am screaming and the homeless man at 5:30 am. The tub had no drain plug so couldn’t take a bath. There were sewer nats in the bathroom and the window in the shower was almost rotted completely through. In summary the grounds are great, the rooms “Suck” and really need desperate repair and remodeling.

The Mission Inn is a must. It's beautiful not only outside. It's incredible inside the grounds too. It delightful, fun to explore, and excellent dinning, with exceptional service and spacious guest rooms.

The Mission Inn in Riverside, Ca is an extraordinary experience!… the historical tour is a must. The Mission Inn restaurant was very magical — highly recommend eating outside under the lights, as a guest you are pretty much allowed roam through all the environments which is quite a delite. The hotel staff, restaurant staff all wonderful. The only downside… was that requesting room service to clean the room will take time… like 4 hours to get to you. I probably wont have the pork tacos again from their mexican restaurant as it was pretty much tasteless…but… the outdoor patio scene for that restaurant and again the staff superb .. i will stay here again!

The first time i stayed here it was amazing, second time not so much, there was a large clump of hair on one of the tables and a used straw on the floor, presumably the cleaners missed it and it was from a previous guest. We had a street facing room which was very noisy and the guests above us were part of a wedding party and making a lot of noise past 11pm

The Mission Inn exceeded our expectations. The historical and Spanish architecture literally took us back in time. The service was impeccable from everyone no matter of their role! The environment reminded me of southern hospitality of Louisiana!

We had not visited the Mission Inn in over a decade and adjusted our expectations given some negative recent reviews we had read. We were pleasantly surprised that this one of a kind historical property is still a gem! We had an early check-in with option to upgrade. Valet parking is well worth it and easy. Very patient front desk staff accommodated our request for room that considered some of our mobility challenges…it was a beautiful junior suite. We each treated friends/family members at different restaurants at hotel and food and wait staff were professional and friendly. We walked the mall and beautiful hotel grounds. Later we ordered room service and it was delicious. Room was quiet, bed was comfortable. We will definitely stay again.

Mission Inn Hotel & Spa was a beautiful property. The pool area was wonderful and our family really enjoyed our time there. The room was clean but could have benefited from some upgrades, including the bathroom. The service was wonderful. There was a lot of street noise, but that's to be expected. We did notice a few suspect people on the property that were definitely not guests, which was unfortunate since we were there with younger children.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful history but would never stay here again. Our room was disgustingly dirty and unsafe. Thick dust clusters all over the walls over our beds. My son has asthma which was concerning to us. Hair all over the bathroom counter and in a folded bath towel, dirty hair tie in the closet, food pieces under the night stand and a pill on the floor by the bed! My four year old picked it up and showed us. He thought it was an M&m. Totally unacceptable and unsafe. What a shame because it is a beautiful hotel from the outside. It is almost impossible to miss these things when cleaning a room. Very disappointed, and the fact that “unfortunately, we cannot do anything because you booked through a third party”. Says a lot about their customer service and care for their guests.

Just finished up another stay at your hotel and noticed that the pool area is still neglected. Our first stay a few months ago was great until we decided to soak in the spa in the morning, only to find the pool area was overrun by yesterday's towels, empty plates and half-consumed cocktail glasses. This weekend wasn't as bad, but the spa was dirty, the tables were dirty, there were beer cans left from the night before. You've got to get a new Pool Manager as this is not good. I don't think this experience is a reflection on the gal working the beverage and food service, she was really good. It's just the maintenance part of the job.

The room was perfect, clean with an exception to the bathroom door that wouldn’t fully close unless you powered it closed. A small refrigerator would have been nice as well.

Very hard to rate- This hotel is GORGEOUS-AMAZING-BEAUTIFUL and worth visiting despite the terrible servic at the front desk. I was given my key not once, but twice to rooms that were alraedy occupied. I walked in on a couple in the first one and again -a second time was sent to a room that was ALSO OCCUPIED! No one apologized- the staff at the front dest just starred at me and then blamed me for requesting the second room be closer to the elevator as I had walked in the heat to Room 316 on the #rd floor without any airconditing. Third room they gave me was finally unoccupied and the hotel is fabulous, but I was stunned at the behavior of the front desk staff.
