It was okay. If you need an easy place to stay with in walking distance to the beach, this isnt bad. However, there is little to no security. Also this is not a ritzy hotel. It's just a simple motel but better than a holiday inn or best western

The veiw from the balcony was great. The hotel needs a new update to the buildings. A little dated. Front desk personal was friendly and helpful.

I liked room. Couldn’t get remote on tv to work completely. They couldn’t either. Stayed 4 days, had to ask for cleaning on second day. Pool was closed for two days. Shortage of food. Not many choices.
For the $$$, it needs improvement.

Good location. Walkable to downtown Encinitas, train station and beach. Older building but clean.

Great location walking distance to the beach and some restaurants. It’s an old hotel with some remodel. Loud AC and fridge. It’s fine for the price and proximity just know it’s clean but old. Pool was very old and I didn’t see anyone swim, jacuzzi was good. Breakfast was not good, other came in and laughed and went out for breakfast, not acceptable compared to other breakfast like Hampton or Hyatt Place etc.

This place looks a lot nicer in the photos. Filter much? The pool area was especially disappointing. The whole place is pretty run down. The first room we got was shockingly depressing. Luckily they were able to move us and the second one wasn’t as bad. The floor was so dirty though, our feet were filthy within seconds. I ended up wearing my sandals inside the whole time. Bathroom was very outdated. Continental breakfast was eh. Staff was nice enough but overall I will not stay here again and would not recommend to family or friends.

Main reason I booked this place was because it looked clean and had a jacuzzi. Both were not true. With it being sold out I had no choice but to stay or be charged full rate for canceling. Would not recommend.

Although the rooms were decent, the property was old, not kept up well, and yucky. Vending machines were broken for 2 weeks while we stayed there twice. Elevator was scary. The lobby is not welcoming and almost like it’s a part of the garage. The pool was mid. The breakfast was fine. But not terrible if you have a small budget. It worked for what we needed.

It was a great stay close to the fun part of Encinitas.

The property needs some upkeep. The faucet in the bathroom had build-up, the bathroom door did not close without forcing it shut and there were cracked tiles. The pool area was nice, the free parking was a plus and the location was excellent.

This place is not what it once was sadly. Disappointing stay here from start to finish. Noisy, food delivery trucks, eyesore of restaurant that was once lovely outside balcony. When I asked to move rooms I was told none were available even though the hotel was 1/4 full. Do not go by the pictures here. This is a 2 star at best now sadly.

Nice place, room service doesn’t come unless you specifically ask them to come, you have to do this every morning which was a bit annoying.

Staff is non existent and when you find someone they’re not friendly. Hotel feels grimy and dirty. Bathrooms need updating and floors feel dirty. Would not recommend for families.

Amazing, family-friendly, breakfast was better this time. Staff is very polite. Contingent on how busy they are, they may be able to store your luggage if you arrive early, just ask and they'll try to accomodate.

Perfect location! The was oom was spacious. Cons, bathroom had hair from previous occupants all over the floor. The sofa had a smell to it and breakfast was not very good.

It was amazing! I love the fact that it was literally around the corner from the downtown area and less than 15 minutes away from Lego land. Very clean, easy check in, and the staff was really friendly.

The concierge was very accommodating and considerate. He let me checked in at 2 instead of 4pm check in. And he was so nice to offer us to move to another room that has a view.

I will stay again. The room is very spacious and they have patio. The staff was nice and the lady that cleaned our room was very sweet and nice she got us an extra blanket. The breakfast was very delicious. Good deal! Very good location close to the Main Street, shops, restaurants and the beach. 🙏❤️👍
