Just a quick runaway to celebrate my husband's birthday, but we had a great time as always.The staff at the hotel does a great job of making you feel welcome and accommodating special needs.

The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast had fewer options due to its relocation during construction but was continuously well stocked with fresh foods. Upon opening the door to our room it did smell a bit of stagnant smoke. Once we turned on the air conditioner and our portable diffuser, it was fine. We always check the beds upon arrival. The mattresses and all bedding were very clean and seemed to be new. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

This was a last minute booking due to loss of power. It exceeded my expectations. Very clean and inexpensive. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. The front desk clerk Elvis was awesome! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed in a King room with a pull out couch/bed. That all was fine, but I wish I could share a picture of the room. The bathroom does not have four walls! All there is between the sleeping area and the shower is a sheer shower curtain. There is absolutely no privacy between the bathroom and the sleeping area. I can’t really explain how disturbing this is. We shared the room with my Mother-in-law! I couldn’t shower or use the bathroom with everyone being able to see and hear me! This is common at this location. My brother in law’s room was identical - same weird shower/sleeping space situation. Be sure to ask about this before you book your room.

They were doing renovations and AC had weird smell every time it came on.

I had called to see if our room might be ready for an earlier check in around 1-130pm. Nick answered the phone and said no, it was not ready. He didn’t even ask my name or attempt to try to look up my reservation. I understand rooms cannot always be ready before the stated time, but he didnt he offer to help or check or anything. When we came in person he was behind the counter and I had asked again and he was not very eager to help. When he did call the housekeeping staff to see when it might be ready, after I asked if he could please check——they sounded eager to assist, the lady on the other end said I can finish this room and get to that room next. Again, I realize we were there before 3pm, but some consideration to help or at least look up the status would have been appreciated. Otherwise the room was good and clean and comfortable.

The beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept in 😴 we had to cange rooms because of our doggy but that was so easy and the beds there wee just heavenly also..

Hotel was the cleanest and best kept hotel ive been in, in a long time. From the Lobby to my bathroom. Not one negative thing to report. Room was quiet which is a nice change from the last 2 hotels ive been in. The only change i would of liked is maybe a brighter light in bathroom. And seeing they are apparently in a long project of remodeling or updating which had no bearing on my comfort . But, theres always a but. Reading reviews about how good their free breakfast buffet is. It was hardly a buffet but 1000x better than the bag and grab at my last hotel. Breakfast sandwiches, big muffins, toast, bagels, cereal, ect. Rate it a high continental breakfast. Perhaps this is temporary during construction. I didnt think to ask. This is the third time we've stayed in a Comfort Inn that was "under renovations." It just gets tiring. I do have to say, the guy who checked us in was great though. Just disappointed with all the excellent reviews that it wasn't a nicer facility.

Good size room with a good breakfast. One quirk the room had an open wall to the bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, that was only covered by a shower curtain. So basically all your bathroom business was heard throughout the room. The tub floor was also very slippery, so you were very cautious during a shower.

We travel a lot with business. Usually you have to ask to have your trash empty and new towels, this wasn’t the case here, we had fresh towels, trash was empty and they replaced our coffee packets in the room which never happen. Even under construction the hotel was clean, employees we friendly and very helpful.

Our room was very nice, but the room and the WHOLE HOTEL smelled like stale cigarette smoke. They need to address this problem! It was really the only negative aspect of our stay.

Love the price and cleanliness of the place (the hallway even smells amazing!). Staff was great and the breakfast was wonderful! They didn’t charge extra for our furbaby, which we so appreciate. Only thing was it was, someone kept walking on the 2nd floor consistently from 7am to around 9am, then around the evening time as well. Not sure if it was staff or a restless guest. However, the hotel was really great overall! It was close to a meeting point for our fishing trip at Lake St. Clair. Will definitely stay here again if we take another Michigan trip!

Staff is very friendly! Location is convenient! Hotel currently under construction, but it did not affect our stay! Hallway floors and 1 spot in room on carpets stained blue. Other than that clean! AC unit could use some work because it did not keep temp in room. But ultimately would stay there again!
