Great hotel near downtown very friendly staff

Although it is an older facility, it has been updated nicely. Received a surprising upgrade to the Alma Rosa suite, enjoyed that very much. 3 night stay, did not eat here but the V lounge was great for a nightcap each evening with attentive and knowledgeable bartenders. Hot tub was small but relaxing after a day of golf or wine tasting.

Very comfortable room with nice shower and bathroom set up. Beds were comfortable and the service was very good.

The reception agent - Thor- was very friendly, and accommodating. We arrived early and were expecting two other friends to check in later that day. He did everything to ensure we could be in rooms that are not too far from each other. He was also very kind and accommodated my husband's request fro an extra blanket in the evening. The room was quiet and clean. The parking situation was also quite good.

Fairly recently updated hotel. Rooms were nice with comfy bed and nice shower. Slightly noisy from the hallway (need to soundproof the door more at the bottom). Everything worked well. Offered free bottled water and coffee to start the day. Hotel is on the western side of Solvang, so going in the direction is easier and you miss traffic in town. Can walk to almost all parts of Solvang easily. Check-in and out was easy. Would stay here again.

The staff are very friendly, but they put us in a room that had the loudest air conditioning system. We put the a/c on manual, and every time it turned on it sounded ike someone was trying to escape from the air conditioning box. We had a lot of baggage to unpack, and had a child to tend to, so we decided to toughen it out. Bad choice! Should've just packed up and went to another room. Also, the swimming pool was cold. We were told that it was heated, so my toddler and I went and it was freezing. Pool doesn't have any heating equipment. The only good thing about this place is their friendly staff, and offer bottle water when you request. Other than that, there are many hotels in Solvang area. Solvang isn't a big place, And every place is a walking distance, even with a six year old, so I suggest find a hotel that has quiet air conditioning, so that it doesn't mess up your sleep.

Without a doubt the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced in a hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was right in the middle of everything in Solvang. I will stay here every time I am in Solvang.

Very old motel like hotel. This place would be OK for a $100 a night, however at $400.00 a night is a joke. horrible rooms, old bed and smelly carpets. Stay a way

Loved the front desk staff! Very kind and always greeted us. Room was clean and large. Shower was great! Also, enjoyed the complimentary coffee and cold brew 24/7. Parking was also excellent and free. Walkable to every store and restaurant. Am looking forward to staying when lounge and restaurant is open next stay. Great value for money.

Hotel was clean and had plugs to charge your phones by the nightstands. Looks like our room was remodeled. Parking was underground and elevator was great. Easy walk to town and voucher was given for breakfast. We would stay here again.

Even though we had a small issue with our room, the staff was excellent at resolving the issue without any hesitation! I’ll be coming back here again and again!!!

Expensive for what it is. Just a room. Facing the street. Spacious yes but not worth $315. Surrounding hotels cheaper

Clean, friendly, walking distance to all of Solvang. Very nice.

Property is adjacent to a canyon full of coastal oaks. Balconies overlook canyon. The room had both a microwave and a refrigerator. Bed was nice.

Teresa at the front desk was so kind and welcoming. The AC in the room was loud and woke us up often. The rooms are big but very simple. We loved the amenities including coffee maker, microwave, fridge, and pool. Our valley view was relaxing and the patio made our stay more comfortable at night and relaxing with that sunset view.

The best thing about this place is the people. The front desk staff is attentive and kind. The bartender is talented and welcoming. The hotel is centrally located and reasonably priced. The accommodations are nothing fancy and the modern touches don’t negate the negatives of thin walls and small bathrooms. If you pack ear plugs and understand this is a “gussied up” motel it will be worth every cent!

The location is fantastic. The lounge happy hours were fun, live music and bartenders Rick and Jacob were so helpful with trip ideas.

I liked that it was walking distance to all the shops. The jacuzzi was warm, and the cold brew coffee on tap was great! The hotel room had comfy mattresses and even provided a mini fridge and microwave as well as a keurig. I would stay here again!

Conveniently located and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. Our room had an incredibly loud AC which was not enjoyable but we will definitely stay here again.
