Paying for parking in the lot was unexpected. The cost is high for unsecure parking and the rate of the hotel with nothing walkable near by. Won't start here again.

Everything is fine except for the blackout curtains that did not close all the way. I wanted to sleep in till 9am due to late check-in, but had to get up by 7 because it was bright enough for me to be awakened by it. If the sunlight bothers your sleep, then this hotel is not for you. Unless of course they gave us the crappy room. :(

Check in was quick & efficient with friendly staff. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable (we had a living room and bedroom) and clean.Hotel and rooms were nicely decorated. The restaurant was handy and the food was delicious.

Hotel was nice and clean …when we walked into our room it was clean but had a nasty smell…after spraying it with disinfectant spray made a big difference…other than the hidden parking feee of 24.50 per night it was a good stay

The hotel was absolutely beautiful - from the courtyards to the lobby to the room, I loved every detail. I did find it challenging to find my room initially, but once I found it I was able to figure out a nice easy route between the room and the lobby.

Went to see my granddaughter at UC Irvine and the hotel was very close which made it convenient .Hotel staff was very nice and the hotel room was very clean .😍

Overall it was a pleasant stay. PROS: The beds are comfy for a hotel- not too firm or flimsy. The ambience was calm, clean, and cozy. The restaurant staff was friendly and the breakfast included fresh ingredients. Parking was easy to find even with two cars. CONS: Our room wasn't ready on time even with 3pm check-in and then it was given to another person who came in after us.

We always stay at Ayers in Costa Mesa, when we visit Huntington or Newport beach. Nice clean rooms, and comfortable beds, and as always great service.

Hotel was clean and seemed nice overall. Bed was uncomfortable though. Also you have to pay extra to park per day. 3 days was around 72 dollars. Price was good and location was good.

I mean, if you don’t mind being nickel and dimed for everything it would be okay I guess. $25 for the privilege of parking my car in their tight parking lot, no complimentary breakfast, and a front desk that acted like it was my privilege to even step foot in their establishment sort of made the experience somewhat lacking. I travel extensively for business and find I take a few things for granted now that maybe I shouldn’t. This was a last second booking so I am grateful they even had a vacancy. There is a cool model of a ship upstairs that kept with the nautical theme.

This is our go-to hotel when we drive up to Orange County from San Diego. The place is beautiful, well-kept. The staff is wonderful. The restaurant terrific. Beds super comfy, rooms are spacious but also cozy. There’s a great little hole in the wall French place across the street, Orange Paris, for lunch or breakfast. It’s our luxurious home away from home.

For the most part the place was nice looking. However, the check in people did not get my prior messages, which were first floor, late check-in and out fees. Also checking in person did not provide any property info, or how to get to my room.

Checked in Friday for the weekend. Very friendly staff and easy check in. Hate that you have to pay to park but seems like a normal thing for California hotels. Room very clean. Bed was a bit too firm for me but I slept fine. I would definitely stay here again.

This place is beautiful and run well. Our room was nice but the bathroom door didn’t open all the way. The room was a bit musty but very clean. The ambiance was a big nice surprise And food was good. Parking should be made clear before purchase so add $50 for each stay.

Amazing receptionist who started off my stay warmly. Room was pristine, nice location overlooking the courtyard. Slept like a baby, I hate to leave this bed behind! 10/10, not one hiccup!

It was nice. The atmosphere was more of Business type or visitors from the airport. Wish they had the complementary free breakfast. Overall the hotel was quiet, safe & comfortable.

Hotel is very dated. Floors in the room were creaky and uneven. Definitely not as nice as other Ayres hotels we have stayed in. Our room was in the second building where there wasn't any front desk or staff, which was a little odd. Location is very close to where planes take off, which also made it loud early in the morning. Parking is an additional $25 per night.

This hotel has the most freindliest staff I have ever encountered - from the shuttle driver at the airport to the hotel, the receptionist and the restaurant team, everyone went above and beyond to make my stay very memorable. My flight arrived early and so I asked if I could get a room earlier than the 3:00pm standard time. They searched and searched until they found me a room. The room is super spacious with living room bedroom. Food at their restaurant was superb as well. The only thing I would change is the fact that the furniture in the room was a bit outdated, but not an issue. They also have a free shuttle to and from the hotel to restaurants and shopping withina 3 mile radius, I will definitely stay there again and again in the future. Amazing service!

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable for us, and the pillows not so much but to each their own. Restroom was nice, had large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Equipped with a blow dryer as well.
$24 for parking. There's a restaurant part of the hotel, super cute, had some good options available. Pricing can be a hit or a miss. Two swimming pools available, vending and ice machine located on the second floor. Within driving distance to restaurants, golf courses, hiking trails, and other things.
