I booked a room with double beds and a balcony facing downtown for my daughter's 19th birthday. She and her friend loved it so much, the pool and hot tub overlooks downtown, and they had several other amenities. I was pleased when I walked into the room and they had chocolate covered strawberries with a little 'happy birthday' card for my daughter. I had asked for that in the notes section when I booked through hotels.com but failed to call ahead of time to see if they could accommodate that, but they saw my note and did it. I feel like the staff went above and beyond what other hotels do. I look forward to booking more staycations here.

I love the property and have stayed there many, many times over the past 20+ years. Staff is great, location amazing, cleanliness is wonderful and there's new carpet and some design improvements but the property (design/ architecture) is getting old. Not sure how to correct it but this is maybe the best location in Austin.

I called in before coming in they said I’m all set.
When I actually arrived an hour later they said my room is not available and they will take me to another hotel and they’ll pay for it.
The other hotel was on the highway and poor condition.
Not sure how things like this can still happen.

Everything was perfect except the parking situation, expensive and maybe would be better if they validated parking for guest. Other than that it was an amazing experience!

Overall it was ok just not worth the price.
The balcony was not private like i saw online and the bugs were so bad that I couldnt enjoy it. The view was pretty but was not able to enjoy the balcony at all.
Also on the 3rd floor (rooms with the balcony)
Its noisy. The bar area gets loud even on weekdays and at 11pm could still hear them.
Same thing with the boats outside. They played loud music and could hearvit in the room. The floors definitely need a deep cleaning.

Bad experience at the reception when questioning why my room was not cleaned. Maria at reception said that there was no cleaning to rooms with stay under 3 nights ????? Can't believe that this is part of Hyatt

This hotel was perfectly located for South Congress Ave and for watching the bats fly from the bridge. We were welcomed with a cold glass of local beer which was a lovely touch. The room was large and clean and beds were comfy.
We did eat here in the evening and weren’t very impressed with the food. Even the flatbread was burnt. Otherwise a pleasant place to stay though.

Very comfortable stay and enjoyable property. New valet parking system did not work for us. We wanted it added to our room. We were given a code which we entered but didn’t work, then we asked the Valet to enter it. Still didn’t work. Valet and front desk entered it together. Still didn’t work although it showed up correctly online. We were never able to request our vehicle online, only by going down in person. Room for improvement with that new system.

Great stay! Was there for one night, loved the atmosphere, tge bar downstairs, food was really good at that bar. The room was very clean, nice, modern. These days it’s a rarity but all shower parts were in place and in a good working condition.

Excellent property. I only have one complaint. The pool was filthy and very disappointing. Other than that, this is an excellent hotel.

A lot of on-site food and drink availability and the property was spacious. It was easy to travel in and out of downtown Austin within 5-10 minutes, both in a vehicle and on an electric scooter. Definitely would return to this hotel.

The property was great. The Expedia booking experience was terrible. I will never use Expedia again. Expedia is terrible about trying to contact a real person about issues you have with booking. Expedia is terrible. Never again.

Amazing stay! The hotel was very clean and very close to downtown. The service was amazing and we felt very comfortable. The only downside for me was the price of parking. Parking is $59 a night! Breakfast is not included, but they have a restaurant where you can purchase breakfast for $30-40. The pool at the hotel faces the very beautiful city skyline. Overall, it was an amazing experience!
