Me and my husband was the first time we went to Cabo San Lucas and everything was beautiful. The staff was very helpful and very nice and their servers was excellent.

Booked with the all-inclusive package only to arrive at check-in and be told that we have a basic all-inclusive package and would be limited to certain items only. This is fine, except it would have been nice to have been provided that information when booking so that arrangements could be made prior to arrival or I would have just paid up front for the better all inclusive package. Also 2 restaurants were out of service, which one would think with limiting options, there would be no tier-level for all-inclusive

Hotel can use an update. Other than that everything else was great. Staff nice and friendly, centrally located and walkable.

Tesoro is in the center of the Marina. Services and staff are amazing!

This hotel is all about the location, which is excellent. You are right on the marina with plenty of restaurants, bars and nightlife close by so there’s no need for a car. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the marina - the view was awesome! We used the pool and had breakfast at the terrace restaurant. The staff was very friendly and we appreciated the upgrade. We only stayed only one night but, wouldn’t have stayed any longer at this property because it felt rundown and was dirty. We had come from a beautiful resort to experience Cabos for a night. Ok for one night but, just pay more to stay somewhere nicer, if you’re staying for longer.

The resort is Beautiful with an authentic feel, perfectly located in the marina close to EVERYTHING!! The Skypool and delicious food were special highlights to our stay!! Highly recommend an experience at Tesoro!!

Great location but Hotel/room is outdated. 1 of 2 elevators was out of service. Staff were nice. It was a last minute trip but Will try another hotel next visit.

Wanted to love it here. We've stayed several times before. But now, it is not what I expected. I booked for a level floor marina view. I am handicapped and don't do stairs well. Soooooo upon check in,I requested again to make sure. They told me they didn't have one available, so therefore, I Had no option but to be walking up and down stairs, just to get to and from our room.VERY DIFFICULT!!!! The pool was not very clean. No cool decking at all!!! The buffet (included) was not that appetizing. Our Top 5th floor room balcony was not enjoyable to set out on. There were so many pigeons and droppings. It was disgusting. Cockroaches in our bathroom. The bed smelled like bug spray a couple of nights!!!! Was sick the whole time there.. Guess Covid didn't teach some of these places a thing!!!! The staff was amazing. But just expected a little more than that. Won't be coming back to this hotel.. too bad. It used to be our favorite.

3.5 stars. Noisy with rowdy guests. Food and staff very pleasant. Standard rooms with windows facing walkways where others can peek. Awakened by other drunk guests in the morning hours multiple times, once involving security guards escort. Location prime. Limited restaurant options although dishes very tasty. Breakfast buffet average, recommend al la carte breakfast instead if you get all inclusive.

Our experience was terrible. We were scammed by the hotel staff. We made a boat tour reservation through the hotel concierge on the first day of our trip, which was supposed to include fishing, snorkeling, and whale watching. We paid $600 for the tour. However, all we got was a fishing trip on an old boat. We got soaked by the waves because the roof of the boat was broken, and there were no life vests for the kids. The concierge had said the license fee was included, but we had to pay $75 each as a license fee when we arrived at the marina. The crew on the boat didn't even know about the snorkeling and whale watching; there were no gears for that at all. Although the crew was nice, we couldn't tip them because we had to pay the unexpected license fee. It felt so bad.The concierge said he would refund part of our purchase, but he didn't respond. When I called from a different number, he answered, saying he was on a business trip and would refund us soon, but that was a lie. Eventually, I filed a dispute with my credit card company and won. By the way, the room was not clean. I found some hairs and a contact lens on the floor. The breakfast was nice. This was my first trip to Mexico, and this experience severely tarnished reputation of Mexico.

It is a perfect place to stay in Cabo San Lucas.

Second stay at hotel tesoro. Beautiful place, very convenient and everything you could want is all in one place. The food isn't the greatest and room service as far as getting fresh towels and things you normally have to call out for at least once, but overall I really do enjoy staying here and I wouldn't mind coming back. In fact, I think I'll come back a third time next year!

Older but excellent facility.

Tesoro has that older property feel to it but we really liked it. Great service and great employees. Location could not be beat. We will happily come and stay again.
