Hotel doesn’t have AC and the church bells ring every 15 minutes for 5 minutes sometimes longer. Overall okay hotel but tough to sleep with open windows and extremely loud church bells in the early morning hours.

Lovely historic 1930s hotel, convenient central location, helpful staff. Our room had a view of the beautiful gothic church just behind the hotel.

Our suite was amazing. Lots of space and beautifully equipped. The staff were very helpful and parking was conveniently located underground at the rear of the hotel.

Very conveniently located near the train station. The room has large by European standards. The staff was very attentive. (Able to check me in early with an upgrade, brought me extra pillows). The hotel has a bit of an Ostalgie vibe to it (this is former Karl-Marx-Stadt, after all), which gives it some charm.

Friendly staff. One of the worst fitness facilities I have seen. The church bells next door to the hotel are very loud and wake you up - they need to install triple glazed windows to block it.

From outside this looks a bit DDRish but do not let it fool you: it's super nice hotel with beautiful rooms. The breakfast was excellent as was the service. Highly recommended.

Overall good but a hotel that is business or wedding orientated

I have stayed in this hotel several times. Since the renovation, it is even better and more comfortable than it was. The location is great, next to the train station and in the heart of Chemnitz.

My room was on the 3rd floor which was being renovated, why you would allocate my room right next to the renovation work being done doesn't make sense. The hotel was not fully booked so no explanation for this

A high quality Hotel near the railwaystation and City Center. Renovated room with parquet floor.
People at reception desk are helpfull in all kinds of Needs. The only minus was the bells of the opposite lokated Church.

This hotel is of good quality and has good services. Room was large and comfortable. A little dated in décor but a very suitable room. Welcome gift of food and mineral water was also good.

Close to train station and shopping with a nice little park beside. Restaurant was a little expensive. There is a smoking room for smokers on the main floor.

Lovely hotel with excellent staff. Lovely location near to bars and restaurants.Breakfast choice was good for continental and room was airy and relaxed. Overall a lovely hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. One very small criticism was that when having a drink in the bar it would have been nice to be given nibbles. We have stayed in other hotels that have done this and it feels like the hotel is giving a little extra to the customer. Everything else was perfect. Well done all

Centrally located overlooking the Opera House. Walking distance to local resturants and city centre. Complimentary breakfast was fabulous with lots of variety. Rooms a litte warm and only two towels for three guests was strange. Otherwise great experience.

Staff spoke english and were friendly, more than happy to help.
Cleaning staff had access to my money and gadget within my room and took none of it. Instead placing it all neatly on the table awaiting my return. Very well done.

Hotel rooms are a little bit dated. Had reserved a comfort double but got two single beds pushed together with two separate quilt covers. Didn't really live up to my expectations especially given the price I paid to stay.

A reliable city centre hotel within easy walking distance of the centre of Chemnitz. Hotel has old style charm and is very dependable. I've stayed there a few times. Easy access to underground parking below the hotel. A very good cigar shop is a few steps left from the hotel front door.

the hotel was in a perfect location close to railway station, and centre of town, staff very friendly and helpful. food fantastic and not overpriced.will defineatly use again if I'm in the area or recommend to others
