Hotel was very nice. Parking was easy. Check in was easy. There is not a lot of food options near the hotel but we at almost all the food places at the casino this weekend. All the food was good and reasonably priced. The gambling was not great but we had a good time! Would recommend staying here again if going to KC.

No housekeeping during our 3 day stay. Second day my wife gets a welfare check that they “have to come in the room and walk around”. I’m not very happy about this intrusion.

No place to eat after midnight, the room smelled of sewer in the shower. Also had drilling and noise come from above that security could not find. The trip in that hotel was terrible

The room was clean and well kept for an older property. Prices were reasonable and loved all the dining options.

The hotel was nice and clean - staff very friendly. However it was probably one of the worst nights sleep I ever had. The head board has a backlight on it that won’t turn off! It will dim but we couldn’t get it to shut off. I am the type of person who has to sleep in total darkness and this was horrible. I got up so tired from lack of sleep!

The hotel is very nice for being older but I don’t feel it’s worth the cost. There is no pool or shopping as was mentioned online. There are restaurants but the one we wanted to go to was closed all weekend. I also don’t know who build a king suit without a bathtub. I have stayed in other Ameristar and they are much more exciting than this one.

No microwaves at all, guests have to park in a faraway parking lot and bring your luggage from there but there is a parking garage on the Casino side??? Front desk clerks were like zombies, they had no life! Limited food choices but it wouldn't matter because there would be no way to reheat any leftovers. Casino floor was fun, lots of slots to choose from. I would come to the Casino again but not stay on the hotel side.

Over half of the restaurants we're closed and the ones that were open were expensive with mediocre food. No housekeeping service.on our 3rd day had to request garbage pickup and refill of supplies. Parking was quite a walk from the room. We wondered what the The $18 resort fee every day provided .

None of the restaurants are open - but they don't tell you that when booking. It was horrible.

We had a non smoking room and it still smelled like someone was chain smoking cigarettes. There was a roach bug crawling on the floor. Limitied Dining. I only enjoyed the dining and service at Sugo the breakfast restaurant. Most likely will not return if we were ever to come back to KC.

Overall, staff was nice and the property was alright, but the $17.75 per night resort fee in the fine print doesn't seem worthwhile.
Resort fee is supposed to include housekeeping (of which there is no daily housekeeping), wifi (which seems to be available throughout the casino regardless) and towels, waters, and gym access (which seem like they should be part of the hotel base reservation).
This fee is pretty substantial given that there is no value to it. Everything was pretty clean, but the fee kinda ruins it. Just add it to the reservation originally and don't bait and switch.

We asked for an early check-in but unfortunately they did not know there was a concert in town so it took really late for us to get into our room and we made it to the concert late

Rooms were not cleaned or resupplied during the entire stay. Restaurants and bars were limited hours.

Went to a concert at the arena there. Worth the money to stay at the hotel for convenience. Restaurants there as well as others close by. Close to Worlds of Fun.

Room not ready as promised. Casino area very dated restaurant service was terrible. Definitely not the same place anymore. Not worth the high cost for a stay.

From check in to checkout the Staff was very friendly, the overall ambiance and history of the property was well preserved.

The property itself was very nice, not much for food choices in the evening, we had some plumbing issues in our room, neither the shower nor the sink would drain. Staff was friendly, and the property was clean.
