Stanley is the epitome of what good and caring service looks and feels like.
The rooms are overpriced for value of a generic hotel room. Must be the location that spikes the rate.

Everyone was so nice and friendly! The room and location were perfect, and the breakfast was hardy. We always stay at this location when visiting Lawrence, KS.

Staff was very friendly and most aspects of the room were fine. However, the door and walls are anything but soundproof. We got full volume of the partiers walking between the room next to us, and the one across the hall.

We went for KU parent’s weekend. It was great. The hotel is close to campus. The staff is always so kind, friendly and helpful. They gave Crumble cookies and hot chocolate to all the guests because it was parents weekend.

A wonderful stay. The property was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a good mix of quality food. Wanted to especially note front desk manager Stanley who was so friendly and helpful,

Nice, clean, updated hotel not too far from campus. The area seems safe. The front desk staff was very friendly & helpful!! We have stayed here before & will definitely stay here again!

I measure all hotels by the amount of water pressure in the shower. This hotel gets a very low score on this point. The water pressure was so low that it was difficult to get the shampoo rinsed out of our hair. We will not be returning.

Must be a newer property. It was immaculate. Very clean and really well done. Beautiful room! Front desk was super nice at night. Breakfast was pretty normal for a hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

When checking in - Chase was so friendly and welcoming. He gave us dinner recommendations which we did end up going to and it was delicious. He gave us some maps to the local area. Lawrence is a wonderful town - wish he had more time to spend there. This hotel was in a good spot - close to the downtown area and very clean.

Excellent location (close to my Lawrence family), rooms are big, coffe & tea station 24/7, buffet breakfast is available til 10am (important for us so we could get ready first), indoor pool is clean but cold, our check in was easy and beyond friendly and helpful. Only reason for 4 stars is the room could use a paint update in bathroom (ceiling was peeling from shower steam) & odd duvet cover over old (but clean) comforter, pool was too cold and one evening front desk was grumpy and short (issue over hot cocoa) but rest of staff was fantastic. We’ve stayed here before & will again.

We were there for my 50th reunion and loved everything. We had a buffet dinner of delicious food and the staff very attentive. Our room was clean comfortable.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, but it was loud. We were woken up in a panic when we heard the neighbors open their curtains. That's not a sound you should hear through the walls. Also, our TV turned on by itself at 8:45. Not cool. Breakfast was ok, but the fruit was kept on one of the group tables. We didn't feel comfortable reaching across other people who were eating, but did appreciate that they wrapped the apples so others weren't just breathing all over them.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was great, breakfast was very good.
The reason we gave our stay 3 stars is because during the night while trying to sleep we smelled cigarette smoke. It was coming in through the exhaust fan in the bathroom. We are non smokers and we found this disgusting. Not sure how the odor permeated our room, but we know if we stay again,.. it won't be in that room.

We had a wonderful time at our son's graduation. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and made us feel very welcome. They did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and our weekend very memorable.
