Great hotel super close to station and really good quality

I stayed here for one night before an international flight. It's conveniently located directly across from Frankfurt Main Hauptbahnhof. The staff was kind, my room was clean and comfortable. Simple, charming, perfect for my short stay.

Wonderful location right next to main train station, immediate areas surrounding and nearby are day time only streets, but area is well lit. Hotel has been updated and rooms are comfortable and well worth the cost. Lot of choices to eat nearby and easy to catch local trams and sight-seeing bus.

Staff is nice and the location is convenient to the train station. Outside of that, the area is soooo dirty and unsafe. The property seems older with how the AC unit “works” and the hallways smell. It served for what we needed for a quick night before our flight the next morning.

New and clean, and right across from the north exit of the main train station. Receptionist marked on a map the direction to the riverside for running. Breakfast is fine for 13.5 euro. Room is small but served the purpose for an overnight stay. But somehow there is not even a bottle of water or an electric kettle in the room. It always took a couple of minutes for me to use the card key to open the door. The hotel may need to check the working of the key system.

A very convenient hotel for night stay. This is the 2nd time we stayed here and still good as before. However, would be good if they include bottled water for us in the room. The breakfast staff were not so welcoming even though the place is pretty empty. Can skip paying for breakfast and buy at nearby Macdonald at the train station next time.

Enjoyed everything, however the rooms were very hot. Liked the location, we had a 4:45 am train to catch and been that the hotel was just across the street was perfect.

Clean, quiet and super-convenient for the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof- just across the road from the side entrance to the station.

Excellent location near train station however, there is a needle clinic and police station nearby. Several people approached us as we walked to hotel. We learned quickly to use side exit from train station to avoid those interactions. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, location very walkable to restaurants. But, I was a little nervous at first. We did feel safe entire time.

It is a very convenient location to the train station.

We enjoyed our time in Frankfurt at Hamburger Hof! It is uniquely located across the street from the train station with easy come, easy go convenience. It's quite central to the city center providing a good balance of the make-up of the city.
The staff were kind and accommodating. Caja (sp) was especially helpful and provided exceptional customer service. He treated us like we were guests at his home.
Taxis are plentiful outside the hotel so you don't have to call one. We never had to use Uber.
Lastly, we especially loved the shower and wish we could take it home with us! We recommend Hamburger Hof and would return again.

My room smelled awful. Supposed to be non-smoking but had clearly had some smokers in it. Room key didnt work. Very noisy. Big cobwebs in the corners. They took my soap and shampoo after the first night and didnt replace them. Desk staff was clueless and perpetually confused
