Ivy Court was an excellent place to stay if your looking for peace and quiet. It was a 5 minute drive from the University which made it convenient to get to my sales conference the following day. Check in and out was very easy and quickly done and the staff was very nice. I would recommend for anyone who's taking a trip up to see the university.

Stayed here during an event at Notre Dame. Excellent stay. They were well prepared for an early check in, which was fast and effortless. Double room was more spacious than I expected, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was surprisingly good (eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, cereal, toast, waffles, bagels, pastries, coffee, juice). Short walk to Notre Dame stadium. Several restaurants, bars, cafes within walking distance. And free parking was great. Would stay again.

We booked it a week prior to arriving going on good reviews and cheap price, and it exceeded my expectations. We arrived at 2:00 AM, and Eric greeted us happily, and he went above and beyond for a snack for my son. It was very clean, well spaced, very comfortable pillows and the BEST water pressure in shower. The breakfast was literally homemade stuff with real dishes and silverware... probably one of the best hotel breakfasts (not at a resort or "fancy" hotel) I have ever had. When we checked out, Becky was very knowledgeable about the area and answered questions patiently! If i ever come to South Bend again, this will definitely be my go to!

Extremely friendly and efficient staff. Facility was clean and well decorated. Problems encountered. 1) mattress was uncomfortable. 2) toilet was very slow, even after maintenance came to check it out and 3) right across the street from a loud, noisy bar/restaurant which made a lot of noise into the wee small hours.

If you value sleep think twice about staying here. The bar located directly across the street played loud, bass thumping music until 2:30am.
The staff was courteous and responsive. Breakfast was above average for hotel breakfasts. Location to campus was convenient.

Clean and cozy stay very close to ND university

The location was very convenient, it was about 8 minutes from the pride festival event that our family was a A part of. That atmosphere of the Hotel was very welcoming, And a cozy atmosphere. The staff was very prompt, courteous and helpful . Our room was very spacious and the beds were firm and just what we needed after a long day! Notre Dame was across the street and a pleasant surprise. We will definitely stay here again....

The smoke detector outside our room area chirped for 2 and a half days. Someone finally took it down. Very dangerous for fire safety. They did not care and desk employees were very unhelpful. They didn’t care, did not know when maintenance would be in. Try sleeping with hearing chirping every 38 seconds and then it was 56 seconds and then it was 26 seconds. Yes I timed it. Couldn’t sleep. Again no one cared. We wonder who removed it and why. They didn’t care when we told them.

I was impressed with the staff helpfulness. I’m older and needed some assistance managing things. The room was spacious and everything was clean. Bed was comfortable. Varied breakfast selection with “real” cutlery and coffee mugs, plates, etc. I would definitely stay there again.

Room was clean. No hot water in the afternoon for showering. Told front desk and was told no one showers in the afternoon. They never got back with an answer. It’s difficult and no fun to take a shower with cold water. We finally got hot water around 9:30p.m. Rooms that face Linebacker/- music till 2-3am . Super loud. Breakfast food was not hot eggs, sausage, bacon. Please remember you asked. Some employees at the desk are very nice. Yes we will still stay there but disappointed this time.

It is right next to ND, convenient for us. The facility is a little outdated but clean. The room is quiet, no noise from next door. The hotel provides free coffee, fruits and cookies nest to the lobby entrance, making me feeling the hospitality. The breakfast also was nice. Overall we liked this place, and will book again.

This is a very nice place. The room is clean and large and the beds are comfortable. The staff was very patient and answered all my questions. There are lots of dining options close by and we can walk to Notre Dame from here.
