We reserved a king room on a high floor with a view but instead record 2 doubles on the 2nd floor with no views. Behind thet, the room was comfortable. Decent breakfast.

I love Hyatt Places and always enjoy my stay but this time there was a wet dirty towel left hanging on the back of the bathroom door and there was only 2 towels in the room.

The check in took a while due to lack of personnel. There was a loud mechanical/machinery sound coming from the hallway of lobby. Our room had no shampoo or bath soap. When we requested additional towels, the front desk advised us they were completely out of clean ones and to ask again in the morning. Pillows were flat. Both sheets and comforter didn’t fit mattress correctly, kept coming off. Breakfast was bland and not much variety. Hotel staff were courteous and friendly. Rooms are outdated. A good remodel is needed. We will not choose this hotel when we go back to Birmingham.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and provided great insight about the area and accommodations. Hotel was very clean and easy to navigate. Breakfast was delicious and the bar service was fantastic.

The service was okay, but the facility condition needs to be improved. The carpet was old and the bathroom smelled like urine in the room.

Upon entering the room, we noticed a table was sticky like it had not been cleaned. Then we tried using the restroom and the handle to the toilet was completely broken and wouldn’t flush at all. One of the beds had dirty sheets and a dirty pillowcase. I went to the front desk and asked to switch rooms but they were sold out for the night and had no other room available. The manager was incredibly apologetic and refunded the room. Overall, the service was great but I would never stay in this hotel again.

Cleaning staff unlocked and walked into my room twice without knocking before my check out. No call from front desk or any kind of warning. They just opened the door to come in and would walk out after seeing I was in there. Twice.

The front desk staff was exceptional. They were kind and very helpful.

Ice machine on first floor. Broken on check out morning. Bag didn’t fit ice bucket. Flimsy paper plates that soaked through from watery eggs.

Hotel is located near shopping malls and restaurants. The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean. It was a gteat stay.at a great price. Will stay again.

Room was decent, there are some damage that hasn't been fixed like the bathtub drain plug was missing, but otherwise fairly good. The most disappointing aspect of this hotel was that I'm accustomed to a Hyatt place having an excellent breakfast. That is in fact why I chose to stay at the Hyatt place. Usually they have bacon or sausage or some kind of breakfast sandwich involving spinach. This breakfast was actually worse than what you'd find at a typical hotel six. At least at a hotel 6 you have a waffle maker. This was lame.

The facility was very nice. The people that was on shift the manager and the workers were very good at their job. Very polite. I will be going back.

Well when I arrived the room I paid in advance was not available and on top of getting moved to another hotel which was not the same standard they didn’t have the correct information and had to call back to the Hyatt place. I should be fully refunded for the major inconvenience

The hotel room was very dirty, not cleaned before our arrival. Towels believe it or not, were limited. I checked in Wednesday and had cleaning service ONCE on a 4 night stay. One of those nights (Thursday), is the only night my room was cleaned and bed was made. However, the towels my daughter and I hung were taken, which is fine. That’s pretty normal. Except, towels were not replaced. I asked for new/clean towels Friday morning. I was told the hotel had NO towels and all were washing. I was told, once ready, towels would be delivered to my room. Unfortunately, I never received towels. I tried calling the front desk, except, the phone didn’t work!!!!!!!! I checked Sunday, without ever receiving clean towels. No one ever came after Thursday to clean or take out the trash. Please, trust me. Don’t stay here!!! Food was terrible. Consist of scrambled eggs, toast, maybe pancakes if you get there early enough and expired cream cheese. Ooh. Lastly, random dog was roaming the 3rd floor. Outside my room. Took a crap right next to the elevator. I tried to staff know. However, none of them spoke English.

Our reservation was cancelled without our knowledge as the hotel overbooked and then cancelled third party reservations.

They give us a room next to elevator and it was very noisy Not happy about it My 10 month old baby barely slept

Room and the whole floor smelt damp

1)Room was out of shower gel. Had to call desk to have some sent up. 2)phone in room not working, told staff who brought up shower gel. She said they would have someone look at that the next day - the day we checked out. 3)there was someones hair on the bedsheets when ee turned down the bed to retire for the evening. 4)the ice machine on the main floor didn't work.

Need more lighting over bathroom sink

The hotel is nice and the reason I gave it a three-star is because the toilets are made for a midget. It's the smallest toilet I ever seen in my life. Everything is nice and then you go to the bathroom and there's this little tiny toilet 🚽 so the hotel gets 3 stars. I'm sorry, size matters...😎

They have a guest of the day gift every day that goes to a random guest. I’ve never saw this at a hotel and thought it was unique! 24 hour drinks and snacks at front desk and great breakfast! Will stay here again!
