It’s all about location just 10 mins from Esplanade de la defense metro station, the hotel itself is normal and the housekeeping is the ugliest part, they didn’t change the bed sheets for 3 nights! And they also didn’t put soap/shampoo or add new coffee packets they’re totally lousy

Good hotel, close to racing, bars and restaurants. Transport links, ( Metro, taxis and buses ) all excellent. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

mold on the wall behind the radiator which was hanging from the wall on one screw. i could hardly fit in the shower (im not a big person!!), no condiments other than 2 coffee sachets to make a drink, bed was terribly uncomfortable amounting to a poor nights sleep. Towels were that hard and rough it was like drying yourself with sand paper!! .Drinks from the hotel bar we from a little keg (witnessed them pouring in the glass) that you can get from the local supermarket for £5 and they charged me 6 Euros for half a pint - also came out warm!!!! No bottles of cold water available from reception. Arrival was also disappointing - was left to feel a burden on the staff as i couldn't get in the room even thought i emailed days before arriving to make sure it was OK to leave our bags before there as we arrived there at 9am - wouldnt like to revisit for a stay at all

The staff are very nice and friendly and the other guests are cool, You'll need to use to metro if you're planning on visiting the iconic sites of Paris. The route to the metro station can be a little complex the first time you walk there so I would suggest looking this up before you travel.

Hotel Le Dauphin is a modern Parisien hotel in Puteaux, just outside La Defense area of Paris. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and speak English well. As with most hotels in Paris, rooms are cozy and arranged as needed to fit the furnishings. I could see the tip of the Eiffel Tower from my window. I arranged to park a car in the hotel garage. Cost for parking is € 13 per day and there are just a few available spaces in a secure underground facility. Best to arrange parking in advance. On-street parking is very difficult to find in the area. The rooms have been remodeled not so long ago and are in good condition.

Beautiful hotel, great location, amazing view, amazing service!

This hotel is situated in Puteaux, but it is well served by the Metro 1 line. The room was spacious and coz, but there was a lack of amenities such toothpaste and toothbrush. The breakfast is great with a vast choice and it comes for a cheap price compared for what you get outside. I recommend the hotel if you want to stay for a short period to visit Paris or for business.

I stayed here for three night. It was my first time in Paris. I know zero french. The staff were very welcoming and give me some suggestions. The room is tiny but clean.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights whilst visiting Paris for Christmas. Easy access to Metro to all tourist destinations.Very polite and helpful staff, rooms were perfectly adequate for our needs. We didnt have breakfast so cant comment about this.

The hotel is really far from everything. It is really tiny hallways and lift and even too small for myself 5ft2 (158cm). I liked it but it was just outside Paris I think so I stayed only one night

It's overall OK. But the location is not so great, especially when you travel here in the late evening.

Had to spend a night in Paris and I chose this hotel and I have nothing bad to say about it. It was comfortable and clean. The only problem I had was how to locate the hotel, spent more than 40 minutes trying to locate it from the nearest train station. People just gave the wrong directions but, will definitely recommend it to anyone!

Able to visit tourist attractions easily as well as visit business district and local attractions. Very conveniently located.

The rooms mightn't be the biggest or flashiest but ours was clean and in good condition. The outdoor part is nice too. And the showers are *amazing*. For the price, you couldn't ask any more. Although not exactly the centre of town, if you're happy to walk 10-15min you can get to a good Metro line. The staff were friendly and helpful and recommended a very good restaurant. And when one of us (not me!) left her phone in the room they found it and returned it. All in all, very happy!

The location of the hotel was quite a distance from the train station and when unfamiliar with the location this can be expensive I would recommend doing some research prior to travel I was travelling with my sister-in-law who is treminally ill so she wanted to get to the hotel as soon as possible to rest after travelling on the Eurostar from London therfore hunting for a cab was not an option and we paid 160 Euro which was rather a shock. Once we had more information it was about a 10 minute walk to the metro and easy to follow.

Had this hotel been in Paris proper, it would have been a 2-3 star hotel. Due to the distance from the action, it would have to be a 1-2 star. It really is only appropriate for people with business at Le Defense. The walk to the metro was 10-12 minutes. Not far, but in the evening, after walking the city of Paris all day, that walk home from the metro is a long one. I was a solo, female traveler, so the walk home at night was a bit dicey. As for the hotel itself...the help was sufficient. I had a single bed, expedia said it would be a full/double. My bedroom was more of a loft, up a winding, narrow stairway. I had a carry on suitcase, but any regular size suitcase would be a struggle to get up the winding staircase. The carpet was stained and old, but the bed was comfortable. The towels were white and stiff. On my last night, the maid service provided me with plush, burgandy towels. Perhaps to give me a good memory of my stay?? The lobby area was nice. Expedia said that my breakfast was included...it wasn't. The desk quoted $14 euro for breakfast. The coffee and tea was free. If your going to Paris for the sights, stay in the city.

I loved this hotel, it was clean and the aircon in the room worked well. I am very particular about bathroom and the one in my room worked well. Loved the lights in the showerhead which changed as the water temperature. The staffs were very friendly and extremely helpful. One challenge is that its a bit of a walk from the station. Will certainly be back at lovely hotel.

It is worth staying at this hotel just for the shower! It had little lights on the wall and the shower head changed color throughout your shower! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Also, there is a complimentary drink machine in the lobby!

Overall the hotel is well run. Very pleasant people working at the facility. The single room is very small, but comfortable and clean. The breakfast consisted of meat and cheese platter, cereal, breads, juice, coffee, and assorted pastries. It was quite nice, and just what was needed to get the day off to a good start. The hotel is located in a very quiet area. It was a 15 to 20 minute walk to La Defense. Alternatively the metro is about 10 minutes, and a bus stop is only a few blocks. Spent over a week there, and had a couple of maintenance issues which were taken care of the following day while at work.
