Worst hotel EVER! When we first checked in, the first room was filthy, garbage was overflowing out of the trash cans and bed had definitely been slept in. The front desk clerk was apologetic and found us a different room however the air-conditioner did not work. She assured me that she would have it fixed by the time we arrive back from dinner. When we arrive back, the air-conditioning was not fixed and she found us a fan but unfortunately, that did not help. It was 85° inside that room, we were on able to sleep the entire night. At 7 o’clock in the morning, we checked out and the front desk clerk stated that it was “ impossible“ that the air conditioner did not. work. He went into the room and indeed the air conditioner was not working. He offered us a free breakfast but we needed to catch a train and Could not take you up on his offer. Avoid this property at all costs.

One of the two bedlights was out of order... Bath curtain is not very plesant to use .....

Served the purpose for overnight stay

the room was very small and very cold. put the heater on but the noise meant we couldn't sleep and we needed to get up early next morning to drive. no one answered the reception bell the following morning for us to check out so we left. car parking facilities ok but advertise as secure but they don't close the gate and if no one answered us ringing the bell to leave who is watching the car park.

was nice and relaxing after work . was very convinient for my customer visit.

I normally stay in the IBIS hotel around the corner. I found this hotel to be better and would definitely stay again.

Handy for a conference at the Pullman and Good for the Tram to the City. Lake nearby is nice and convenient if you are coming by car. Not many facilities in the immediate area. Friendly staff.

The Hotel has a good location close to the train to downtown. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Two main shortcomings of the hotel were the small rooms and lack of a laundary.

Lovely hotel, modern, clean and very helpful and efficient staff.Location, although not on the lake, is only a 5minute walk away. But not an awful lot to do at the hotel end of the lake apart from sit on a bench and watch the ducks!The tram that goes into the centre of Bordeaux is right by the lake, as cheap as chips and runs every 20 minutes or so. Well worth a visit into the centre of this beautiful city, totally unexpectedly lovely.WiFi was a bit sketchy and the room not the most spacious, however it had all that was required for a night or two.The buffet breakfast was a nice touch, plenty of fresh and different breads, yoghurts, cheese and ham and various pastries.Good value for money, clean, comfortable and conveniently located hotel.

Arrived on a Thursday night. Check in was very speedy stress free, we checked in by Laura. She seems to be this hotels best staff member. Other staff members were not as pleasant or as interested in being employed by the looks of it. Overall the hotel is too far from the centre for the staff to behave as if guests are an inconvenience, there is a tram stop 5 mins away and it takes approx 15 mins from there to reach quinconces, if the staff had been better. I may have had a different point of view

Lovely stay but a bit far out which we were happy about

Hotel Apolonia was quite readily accessible by cheap tram and bus from the railway station. The staff were affable and helpful and not a bit officious. Good breakfast and evening food available. Room had little spare space but was perfectly adequate for a lone traveller, with reduction in price for one occupant. Staff help included ordering cabs, sorting out customer's phone problem..... Room diligently cleaned daily and the hotel was attractively presented for a modestly priced place to stay. No obvious deficiencies.

The hotel has placed their washrooms just inside the front entrance so our first impression was the smell of toilets. The room was smaller than anyone could ever imagine and the access to the "loft" is a ladder hinged to the wall that you have to retract to get to the bathroom. This was a four person room and you could barely fit two! Its not worth $130 Canadian a night.

Not bad for people with the car; but not for the people who are using public transport.

The Staff was quite pleasant and helpful. Romes were clean and though not luxurious, very nice. The breakfast was good with fresh oranges that you juiced yourself. they had an egg boiler that was nice and the breads were good. I did not eat dinner there due to the very good Hippotomus around the corner.

This hotel was very basic. The room small and access to the bed was on one side only as it was against the wall! Food was mediocre and overall our stay was disappointing.
