This is a pet friendly hotel so I’m sure when you bring the dog there are certain rooms designated as “pet rooms”. I expect the occasional hair. However, in our room a prior guest had a small dog which set up camp under the bed, ate, drank and defecated and it was never cleaned up. we informed the front desk of this immediately but it was not addressed while we were out. The following morning we mentioned it again and that employee had the room vacuumed. Aside from the feces under the bed, The room was basically grungy and all other respects. We have stayed here before many times and we never had a room this dirty. There is a $75 charge when you bring a pet, so for that, I would expect the room would be cleaned between visits. In my past reviews, I’ve mentioned that this property was somewhat rundown. However, this touched a new low in our history of staying there. Be sure you bring a box of Clorox wipes, you’ll need them.

This was my second stay at this hotel in Sacramento. Both times I asked the front desk personnel for a wake up call in the following morning, and in both stays, I never received any wake up calls. Also, the refrigerator in the room was really noisy during the night and it was hard to sleep.

Overall a good stay, stayed there in a 1 night stay for a golfing trip with family our room was spacious with a kitchen and full fridge for cold storage big bathroom space, not sure if it was only our room but the rest our families rooms had plushy beds ours could have been a bit better but anyways we slept good, definitely will be staying there again if need be.

The Hotel was a bit of a hidden gem. It was tucked away in the back, very quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

The pictures of the hotel make it look in much better shape than it is. The cleaning staff is good.Check in and out staff was very good. Coffee was good. Breakfast consisted of things to warm up in a microwave. There are a few restaurants in walking distance to grab a hearty breakfast.

Staff was very kind at check in. The hotel is definitely run down and in need of updates but it was clean. Unfortunately, neighbors were very noisy and the walls are fairly thin so I could hear them throughout the night. Kitchenette was perfect (microwave, stove, full fridge/freezer, etc.)

Staff was very friendly. Be aware that it costs $75 extra per night for a dog. I wish hotels would post these fees when we make our reservations. We ended up not bringing our dog, but we saw many dogs. The AC was quiet. The room was quiet. The continental breakfast was yogurt and coffee. Do not count on breakfast. Mel’s diner is located in the parking lot. Their breakfast was good. There was a homeless person in the parking lot all night. You need a room key or combination to use the lobby restroom. Also there was a large camera station in the parking lot… wondering if they have a crime problem. I worried about my car all night. lol

Perfect for our annual pilgrimage to Sacramento for the Aftershock Punk/Metal Festival! Having a full size fridge in the room is really nice because I have horrible food allergies and have to travel with my own food, so there was plenty of space to store all of it along with our oversized cooler freezer packs!

Mattress was uneven and very uncomfortable. Bathroom sink and faucet were filthy. Shower floor creaked when you step in and move around. Room furniture is beat up but can be overlooked if the room had been cleaned. Floors filthy. Sucks that I had booked a 5 night stay.

Clean hotel with plenty of parking available. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The only negative thing was when we first checked in we were given the key to a room that was already occupied. It was quite the surprise to open the door to what we thought was our room and find two people inside. I can imagine they were shocked/surprised as well. We went back down to the lobby and explained what happened, then got the key to an unoccupied room.

My stay was good. Check-in was a breeze. The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were clean and well-kept. The property is a little older but maintained and of average style. The bed was comfy and I slept well. There were no issues with noise. The only problem I had, and it was pretty significant (in my opinion) is stagnant water collection as I showered. Absolutely gross!

The room was clean, but old and dated. The curtains were tattered and when we sat on the foot of the bed, the top part popped us almost causing us to fall to the floor. The bed also squeaked and the air conditioner rattled. The bed was very uncomfortable so we ended up leaving around 1:00 AM 😩. The front desk was friendly and efficient, but not much else’s good to say.

t I recently stayed at the Larkspur Landing Extended Stay Suites in Sacramento. I liked the room; it had a large refrigerator, a 2-burner stove, and a small dishwasher. The air conditioning was quiet, which was a nice change from other places I've stayed. Breakfast was included with our stay, and it had everything you could want: packaged oatmeal with hot water provided, hard-boiled eggs, muffins, breakfast burritos, egg and ham muffins, fruit, yogurt, and milk, all available in a large refrigerator.

Place was fine, clean. Check in clerk very nice, but .. the bedside lamp made scary crackling noises. I stopped at desk to let them know but clerk wasn't there. I told a service employee she shrugged and walked away. I sent a message though the corporate website but didn't get a reply. I would definitely caution about this hotel given the lack of care there seemed to be for this hazardous situation.

This is closer to a 3 start hotel rather than a 4 or higher for the price paid. When i first arrived, the entire first floor smelled of cigarette smoke, the hotel room doors were difficult to close all the way, the bed had hair on them, the trim in the bathroom were broken or missing in parts, everything just looked run down. The staff was friendly though and they had security outside so i felt my car was safe at least.

Close to sac state. Room was nice. The hallways and lobby were hot and the hall smelled like fish. The breakfast is fridge stuff you heat up.

Hotel was nice enough. Looks much older than the photos and is pretty dated for the most part. Not enough outlets for plugs and body wash in shower was empty so no soap. Breakfast was just a fish with a few things and coffee…nothing like what most have come to associate as a free breakfast.
