Once checked in went to room and it reeked of smoke. Talked to older man at front desk and he became very irritated and aggressive. Asked for different room - atleast 6 rooms had not been checked in and he refused insisting this was non smoking hotel and there was no rooms available. He became angry and offered us a can of spray to mask smell. I asked for a discount and he said no and mumbled we might as well to somewhere else. Younger lady came to front, hushed him a couple of times and gave us new room. He was extremely mad. My 22 year old daughter would not go to continental breakfast both days without me because she was scared of him. Experience besides that was very pleasant. Rooms were clean - love the wood plank flooring. Beds were not made during day - towels were replaced. Surprised there was no lotion, individual hair conditioner

It has a bed and a shower, and all of it was sanitized and clean. They had a scheduled power outage for some reason the morning of our checkout, which was unpleasant as we couldnt eat breakfast and it turned off the AC. Not notified prior to checking in either. Other than that it is about as advertised.

The parking lot was under construction so access was slightly awkward but on the whole it is a simple, functional and fairly priced option for Pella.

Room was very clean

We never got to stay at hotel. We had a medical emergency. I asked to have at least half of our money refunded and was denied. I need to file a claim.
