Absolutely fantastic. We loved this hotel. The food was fabulous, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and the setting was so peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely be back.

Location, food, lounge spaces and staff were all good. However, the bedroom thermostat isn't linked to aircon. Room became hot overnight even though we turned down the temp. and opening the windows didn't work. The noise from the corridor and other bedrooms was bad too.

The Lake hotel was better in person than what is seen online (and the photos are wonderful online!). The moment you walk the attention you are given is amazing! A taxi or cab to the center of town, but so worth it. My son hiked around the lake and then we finished up with scones and tea delivered to the room and that is a must have!!!!! The best scones ever! Dinner, bar, room, all amazing. Waking up to the view of the lake and having coffee on the balcony was exactly what I needed. I can not wait to come back again!

Wonderful accomodations! Beautiful place to stay, with amazing staff. All the nature walks were in walking distance, which we loved. We will definitely be coming back!

The Lake Hotel is a welcoming accomadation with stunning views. The staff find small and large ways to meet your needs and exceed yoyr exoectations. They upgraded our rooms to a lake view, provided great music in the evening, and offered extra bottles of water as we headed out to explore. Sitting in my room and common areas watching the view change was one of my favorite parts of the stay. The sing along in the lounger my last evening there was a community experience. The breakfast was in the lovely dining room and had a vast dejection of choices. Tye dining staff was attentive. The Devil’s Punchbowl Bar gave great service. For those traveling to Killarney National Park, this is a wonderful home base.

This was one of my favourite hotels that we stayed in! The location is an absolute dream, the building has so much history to it and stays true to its character while being immaculately clean, the food is amazing, they had live music in the bar, and the staff was so very nice and helpful! Stay here if you get the chance :)

The view from our room was spectacular. Absolutely the best thing about the hotel. A king size bed would be nice rather than a double and twin in the room. Outlets in the bathroom would be nice. The waitress for dinner was clearly new and struggled with service. The breakfast service was not great. We waited 25 minutes before they brought coffee and took our order as we were ordering off the menu and not eating the buffet. I asked for coconut milk and they indicated they make it homemade and brought out a sludge that was thicker than sour cream. The oat milk was normal. The manager and front desk staff were very friendly.

Amazing stay for wedding anniversary celebration. Beautiful hotel, staff was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was the best of our entire trip. This was hotel was the highlight of our vacation.

Amazing hotel located in a spectacular area. The city of Killarney is a true gem . We had a room facing the bay and the castle ruins . The breakfast is very good and the bar area has evening music (changes daily). The staff was very accommodating getting us reservations for Gap of Dunloe tour - unlike other websites the hotel offers a direct shuttle to and from the start/wnd of the tour. We spent one day walking (13 miles) around the Muckross Lake and were surprised by the microclimates and great variety of plants here .
The city itself is very pleasant and a good spot for shopping.

We had a fantastic stay at The Lake Hotel. We will make this our home base for our annual trips to Killarney in the future. The room was excellent in every way: clean, spacious, with a great view, and convenient to the restaurant, bar and lobby area. The staff were professional, and the food at breakfast and in the bar was terrific. We loved our stay.

A hotel in close proximity to Killarney but without the traffic and noise. Get a room with a balcony, great view quiet and the option of opening the door if too warm in summer. Both bistro and main restaurant serve great food, the bistro better value. Breakfasts are vast in choice.

Go for walks over the property around the lake.

Beautiful property, the views are stunning! We went to the bistro they have while waiting for check in and they had a variety of whiskey’s to choose from. They also provide the service of franking and posting postcards, which is a fantastic service! Excellent hotel, I highly recommend!! (The breakfast was also very tasty!)

Enchanting property! Service was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant, bar, and patio areas all had an amazing view. Live music in the lounge/bar area provided a nice ambiance. Rooms were lovely and clean. The best part is that the hotel was removed from the hustle and bustle of the touristy part of Killarney but easy enough to get to when we wanted it.

We arrived early and was promised a call when the room was ready but didn’t get one. After checking in it was clear the room had been ready for a while.
The TV didn’t work which required 2 visits by technician to change cable.
The safe didn’t work which required 4 visits by front desk / technician before it finally was replaced.
Large room with comfortable beds but furniture and bathroom was dated. In room for 3 people only place for one suitcase so the rest went on the floor. Good breakfast and beautiful location.

This was a wonderful stay!
The property is family owned and operated and it really shows. Every attention to detail is palpable and can you really notice it. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly maintained, settled upfront to Lake Killarney and surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife. We were given an upgrade to our room and check-in and we are very grateful for it. The restaurants at the property serve delicious food on an unbelievable setting. Can’t express how much we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely will be going back soon and recommend this place to anyone looking for an idyllic holiday.

Old world Irish charm and on a tower house ruin! Beautiful inside and majorly beautiful outside! Super fun bar with great music at night, staff was great, room was clean and comfortable. Totally worth it! A great stay

Everything was amazing! Older hotel with a couple spiders in the windows but they kept to themselves 10/10. Food was superb, best breakfast I’ve had in Ireland. Would recommend if staying in Killarney.

This is an extraordinary hotel in every way. The staff is expert in Irish hospitality. The location is in a stunning lake next to a castle ruins next to the Killarney National Park near the Ring of Kerry drive. There is a delicious Irish breakfast and lunch and dinner are available at the Bistro or there is a fine dining option. There is a bar onsite with live music. Dining is available outside. Rooms are comfortable and modern. Husband said best shower ever! Definitely highly recommend. Want to go back!
